in The Modern Era (since 1960)...
The ones that have traditionally cranked out the most Elite Level fighters...and those are The United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico...
Don't take it personal if your country's not in that league...that's just the way it is, and there's nothing you can do about it...
Thank you and goodnight.
junior gong?...judging by your name, avatar, and sig, you must be one of those African-American hating Pacmaniacs....how embarrassing....do you not know your make is the laughing stock of The Online Boxing Community?
Why do you still post?
but anyway...you're right in mentioning Xenophobia....this place is riddled with it, and I fought their sparks with fire and squashed it.
No, I just dont like twats, fanboys and bumsniffs very much... especially racist or xenophobic ones life you, schnuffty.

You can't forget my Legendary Truth threads....they're unparalleled.
American Boxing STILL RUNNING The Boxing World, kids...continually cranking out the best fighters throughout the divisions...producing the most Top P4P Talent...
How does it feel?....knowing we are DOMINATING without even TRYING.
and to address one of my children...
So Mr. prognosticator: Which 3 countries will be the first rate nations of this decade?
You already know...
Certainly not England, The Philippines, Argentina, or Denmark...lol
P.S.~ Congrats to Mikey and Danny Garcia....proving that Mexican-Americans and Puerto Rican-Americans are forces to be reckoned with...the best of both worlds.
P.P.S.~ LMAOOOO!! @ Donaire...that's he gets for choosing to put his Pinoy side first...
Thank you...thank you...
But we are so superior to them in every aspect even if i wasn't Mexican i still believe were are so far superior
your race is no superior than any race.
the only thing you're superior to anyone is stupidity.
fukkin biiitches.
Here's another thread that brings a few wiseguys downplaying Puerto Rico because of its political status. The fact is that, regardless of the undefined status, PR competes as PR, not USA.
In the sport of BOXING, which is what we are supposed to discuss here and not political issues, Puerto Rico has to be seen as a nation. Puerto Rico has, consistently, produced many champions, around 60 up to this day, and has been a top boxing nation for decades. I understand that, currently, things have not been too good, but it does not take away from the country's history in the sport.
You really are one, ungrateful, Owned b*stard...lol...did you not see my gracious post after The End came to pass?
You obviously didn't deserve that respect as you can't give me mine...
I predicted this massive, ultimate collapse 6 MONTHS AGO...while those of your ilk were riding high and doing your thing...overrating and picking your fighters over noticeably better fighters from other lands...
and if it was so easy to predict...why didn't YOU boldly and publicly predict the Demise, Dem Eyes?
Exactly.
I also predicted your sh*tty '09...and before that, your sh*tty '07...this is what I DO...this is what I have ALWAYS done.
There's a reason why I'm known as one of the GREATEST Prognosticators and THE SOLE Visionary in this game...
because it is all documented in the biggest and/or best forums....here, esb, fighthype, btalk, etc...
Now you know...

So Mr. prognosticator: Which 3 countries will be the first rate nations of this decade?
Quoted for proof.
It was YOU who tried to have a go at me....I didn't have you in mind or single you out when I predicted The Doom of British Boxing...you obviously took it personally...
and I'm not "arguing" with you...I'm telling it as it IS.
As far as outrageous claims...Calzaghe fans?, Hatton fans?, Khan fans?, Haye fans?
lol...you gotta be sh*ttin' me...
and what are you trying to do?...claim France or some another country in The EU?
lol...go ahead....claim 'em all if you want...
When it comes to Boxing talent...The Bay Area in California is currently > the entire CONTINENT of Europe...
Ward, Donaire, Guerrero.
:owned:
Yeah...I suggest you let this get buried now...
Wikipedia is talking sh*t. England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man.
Some of the funniest sh1t I've ever read is on this thread. It should be published.
Holy sh1t that ass is delicious.....
Anyway, the best countries in boxing HISTORY are:
#1 - U.S.A
#2 - Mexico'
After that it gets tricky. You definitely have to put Puertorico up there because of their size and they have had 40 something champs.
Argentina deserves a lot of respect because they have had great fighters.
Cuba has been great in the amateurs but not so much in the pro's as you would expect. Of course it's because of Fidel and the communist system not allowing Cuban pro boxing to evolve.
Ghana in Africa has had great fighters.
Panama, Philippines, Japan, Thailand...all have had many champions and deserve respect as well.
5 countries. Get it right.
You need to ask yourself who are you arguing with. I have never in my life heard a british boxing fan claim Britain produces the best boxers or even close to it.

Countries of the United Kingdom is a term used to describe England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. These four countries together form the sovereign state of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which is also described as a country. The alternative terms, constituent countries and home nations, are also used, the latter mainly in sporting contexts.

btw...you do realize your "Boxing Nation" is comprised of 4 different countries, right?...one would think it could produce at least some Elite Level fighters here and there...
Not only 1 every 10 years...lol
:chairshot
End of story...piss off if you don't like it...
5 countries. Get it right.

I hope you're still around when British boxing leaves the transitional stage ( doubt it ). You waited for the perfect time to make a thread like this when Britain had such limited champions, it was so easy to predict.

i haven't crunched any numbers or anything but my perception was always that the three 'god tier' boxing nations were usa, mexico and cuba.
and you have a point when you put it that way, underground man...
Cuba is definitely up there...always a perennial powerhouse in the amateurs, but they've definitely fell off in the Pros the last two decades...
Not to mention the ones who never went Pro and could have been special...
They produce very talented boxers on the average though...I always make it a point to follow their top prospects and am very respectful of them and their Boxing history...
