Hopkins is the dirtiest fighter I have ever seen

You want to see dirt and grime. Round 10 - Lebedev-Jones Hopkins has every trick in the book and yes he is dirty but Pascal was dirty too. He keep rabbit punching Hopkins in the back of his head and the ref did not even give issue a warning.

He is a veteran so he got 2 do what he got do.

Yeah Hopkins did a little of this but Pascal also did a little of that, so it cancels out and I was in Awe of Hopkins tonight he once again shut everyones mouth and proved he is a ATG. Kudos Hopkins

Why is the moral police congregating in this thread? Its a FIGHT! BHop is indeed one of the dirtiest fighters ever, and yes everybody knew that. So what? The other guy can do that stuff too, if he's not as good at doing it as Hopkins without getting caught then hey guess what clear advantage for Bhop. Its actually a skill to be able to roughhouse like that. Oh and another thing, id much rather watch two guys try to do everything in their power to win, dirty or not, than all that lovey dovey crap touching of gloves that was going on with Shane/Pac. For the record: 1. I wasnt talking about just this fight. Hence the word "ever" in the thread title. Pascal fought like a scared girl, heck they both did. I know they ARENT scared girls, no one that climbs through those ropes is. But they both worked hard at throwing 35 punches a round in the LHW division. The dirty fighter thing is just a conclusion I came to watching Hopkins become the oldest champ in history. If it didnt work, he wouldnt do it. I wasnt crying foul on this fight, hence me posting this well before the decision, just observation. So dry your gay fanboy tears already. =) 2. To all my "Watch more boxing" or "Never had a DQ" people in the house. You never said he didnt do it, just that he had never been caught. The wrong thing is the wrong thing, regardless of outcome. Would I rather watch boxing without it? Yep. Have I? Yep. I thought Hopkins won this right running away (as he did the last one) I just know, like millions of other fight fans, that he is one dirty bastard. Again, I dont think his tactics altered the end result of this fight in the least, just this fight reminded me of how bad it gets at times. And yes, Casa is FILTHY too. There will always be challengers to the crown, I just know who the champ is in my eyes. lol Oh and for the record...ive watched almost every major broadcasted fight for the last 15 years(and most of the not so major ones). So...stfu with the watch more boxing. =) I don't know, I've seen some extremely dirty fighters that maybe are not so known. One of them is former featherweight champion Cristobal Cruz, and another one is former lightweight champion Luis Alberto Lazarte. I'm sure there are some others, but those are the ones that come to my mind at the moment.

No question Bernard is dirty but tonight they both were dirty...Bernard got Pascal to fight his fight...

Hopkins fought dirty as always, but so did Pascal. The ref was an asshole though, he barely warned Pascal, yet constantly called out Hopkins. Ref did not call the KDs. The punch caused the KD so I think BHop's win is very convincing.

They both fought an equally dirty fight. Pascal was rabbit punching the hell out of Hopkins in the late rounds.

Any fight with Hopkins is sure to be rough and tough. I like Pascal more now even though he lost. It was cool to see Hopkins give him back the belt.

Yeah Bhop was dirty, but Pascal was dirtier. Hopkins hit Pascal on the break, but Pascal threw several rabbit punches and the ref didn't warn him about them. In some of the middle rounds Hopkins made Pascal look like an amateur.

Pascal was hitting behind the head 4 times for every 1 time Hopkins did it. Pascal was grabbing B-Hops arm and holding on for a good 5 seconds after the ref said break. Pascal was throwing his head at BHop in the clinch on numerous occasions, not even being subtle about it. Pascal was also cheapshotting and throwing dirty little jabs and half hooks in BHops face when they were being broken by the ref. All in all Pascal fought like he always does, like a silly Canadian f@ggot.

Headbutting. Hitting behind the head. (granted they were both doing this) The "Headlock and hit" was nice on a couple of occasions. Specially rocking that body shot over and over while the ref is screaming to stop. He may be a legend...but he is a dbag of the highest degree. Did you see how many times Pascal rabbit punch BHOP? Pascal also used his head as well later in the fight. Did Pascal called BHOP out for his "dirtiness" after the fight like what you are doing?

The reason being that when the ref is on his right, he hits with the left, blocking the ref's view with his body. Like speeding in front of a cop, but with a wall between you and him... .............You mean what pretty much every fighter who has ever tied up in the history of boxing does?

He is dirty without a doubt, but he's one of the smartest Boxers ever. He can keep fighting until he no longer want to, not when he's force to unlike some other Boxers.
