Very common with boxers who reach such stardum. No more spotlights, attention and the adoration of people will drive them to depression with will hurt less with drugs and alcohol. Its kind of freakish when it doesn't happen if you follow the big names.

Oscar has always been a heavy drinker. Especially in the early part of his career. The fact that he's getting checked into rehab is probably because he's becoming violent, guessing he's depressed that he's not making tons of money.
