Yeah. He definitely fooled himself. In any rematch, he needs to throw combinations and outwork him. That's all there is to it. Otherwise, Groves will always have his number. Still, humiliating. To talk so much about a knockout and then to LOSE a fight. He's gotta come back strong or it's over.

You know, considering that DeGale pushed the action and landed the bigger shots, I don't see why the fans would boo the guy. Both did well for how young they are and the pressure of the event. Decent little fight.

Groves lands a sneaky shot to the body. A little jab for Groves lands and he moves out of the way of trouble. DeGale switches to orthodox and then back and seems to use his elbow. No warning is given. Groves using decent head movement. The two trade shots, but both only graze their opponent. DeGale landing a brushing right hand. DeGale covering up and blocking a couple of Groves shots. A straight left for DeGale misses and Groves continues to move. A right hand for DeGale finds the mark but nothing too hard. Round 2: Both men looking a bit more relaxed now, with DeGale pushing the action forward for himself. Both men working feints and not much else in the opening ticks of the frame. A couple of straight shots for Groves miss the mark, but one gets through. Another right hand does get through for Groves. Groves opening up a bit more and lands to the body but a lead left for DeGale counters well. Lateral movement for Groves is making DeGale chase him. DeGale making Groves miss as he backs up and DeGale then resets. Grvoes misses with a big shot and then the men tie up. Referee gets warned for a shoulder. DeGale stalking, but not getting his shots off. DeGale missing wildm, then landing alittle upeercut as a follow up. A body shot for Groves lands and DeGale misses a few shots. Round: Groves, 10-9. Two hooks for Cleverly lands. Cleverly landing with three or four unanswered shots. Kuziemski now has a cut by his left eye and taking some solid shots to the body. The referee stops the fight to check out the eye and stops the fight. Surprisingly premature. Cleverly shrugs and Kuziemski seems shocked and annoyed. Winner by technical knockout, Nathan Cleverly.
