Has Lebedev had some kind of soft palate reconstruction?

I was looking at the weigh in pics and cant tell if he is just making the same face twice, or if has had some work done on a cleft palate or something. I imagine having that kind of work done has to have some bearing on your abilitity to take a punch to the jaw? Then again..maybe not. If it hasnt bothered him before now, its probably not going to.
