TS failed math badly in elementary and high school. You can't even do basic math and the years go forward. So, the fights happened in the past so you have to do basic algebra which is subtraction and you get the difference.
Your boy Floyd is going to be 35 years old next year. Pacquiao will be 33 years old. Math is so hard for some people here.
A decade begins and ends from 1990 to 1999.
1900-1909
1910-1919 = World War I - The Lost Generations
1920-1929 = The Roaring Twenties
1930-1939 = The Great Depression
1940-1949 = The 40s = World War 2 - The Lost Generations
1960-1969 = The 60s = The Baby Boomers - "The Me Generation"
1980-1989 = The 80s = Transformers, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Michael Jackson
2000-2009 = September 11, 2001, The Lost Years, The Great Recession
2010-2019 = President Obama
A century starts and stops from 1900 to 1999 exactly 100 years. A millennium is 1000 years. And millennia means more than 1,000 years:
Here is Will Smith to help you understand it more:
And here is The Count to help you with your numbers:
Edit: I'm bored:
Australian Bureau of Statistics, use a 1965-1981 birth range to define Generation X.
Generation Y begins and ends from 1982 to 199-. Most scholars are still debating when to end the Generation Y.
"Generation Z (also known as Generation M, the Net Generation, or the Internet Generation) is a common name for the group of people born between the early 1990s and the early 2000s." This quote came from Wikipedia and from what I read in other online journals the dates are still being debated.
Lets not act like some Pacquiao fans aren't equally retarded.
Both fan bases have intelligent and idiotic apples in each bin.
You make 2 good posts every 5 years. This is one of them.
Jk :lol1:
Floyd fans. Always reminding us of the level of intelligence they operate with.

i ain't even a Pac fan, but who else out there could fight those guys without an L?
Mayweather already has. He has cleaned out every division from bantamweight to heavyweight and still going strong at 175-0-0 (159 KO's), you can check the Chumpubox stats for all his fights in the Fantasy Fights section of this forum. :boxing:
:lol1: ****in Kev
I just looked over it again and realized I was wrong :lol1:
The Marquez and Mosley fights were in a span of 8 months. That means I was wrong by 2 months, and Floyd actually fought 6 times in 4 years 11 months.
Including the upcoming fight with JMM, these are the ages of Pacs last 6 opponents.... Smfh... Manny the Pop Pop Slayer....
Floyd fought Shane last year: 39-1 = 38
Floyd fought DLH a year before Pac did: 36-1 = 35
Floyd fought Hatton 1.5 years before Pac did: 32-1.5 = almost 30
Floyd fought JMM when JMM was 35 years old
---------------------------------------------------------------
Pac is 32 years old himself, it's not like he's 24 and fighting these older guys. He fought JMM twice already but I guess JMM was old and shot back then too? You also conveniently left Cotto out of the mix too, lol. Cotto was like 28 and Pac was 30....I guess that would have gone against your argument though..... :fing02:
But yet having 2 fights in the last five years or so equals to something greater?
Technically in the last 5 years Floyd has actually fought 5 times plus 1 more fight if you count one more month.
Okay, counting from June 2010 up to now May 2011, that's about a year, more or less, technically 11 months. Okay he has not fought in that span of a year, i'll give you that one.
That's 11 months=0 fights.
Mosley and Marquez took a span of 10 months. From September 2009 up to May 2010, count it, it's 10 months.
11months+10 months=21 months= 1 year and 8 months= 2 fights
Keep in mind in 1 year and 8 months, he fought 2 fights.
Before that he was retired from January 2008 to August 2009, that's 21 months retired.
20 months=0 fights
Count how many years we have so far, 3 years and 4 months = 2 fights.
You said 5 years = 2 fights...Okay let's keep going till we get 5 years.
Carlos Baldomir fight was in November 2006 - DLH fight was in May 2007 - Hatton fight was in December 2007...that's a span of 14 months = 1 year and 2 months.
Okay so let's not get lost now, let's count how many years we have so far 3 years/4months+1 year/2months= 4 years and 6 months. In 4 years and 6 months, we have 5 total fights!
But you said Floyd has only fought twice in the past 5 years, so we gotta make it to 5 years. Come on kids let's keep Counting With Kev!
We have 6 months to go, who did Floyd fight in the prior 6 months before fighting Baldomir? Nobody! HE fought Zab Judah in April 2006, which makes it 7 months.
So in the past 5 years and 1 month....Floyd has fought...drum roll please.
*Points the mic to the crowd*
Crowd: 6 times!
Yes!
You guys were so good today.
Okay, see you next time on Counting With Kev!
:)
Hatton 30 at time of fight
Marquez 34 at time of fight
Clottey 32 at time of fight
Margarito 32 at time of fight
Cotto 28 at time of fight
So what? Mayweather will be 35 by the time they fight and he's the best opponent out there or Martinez as some people want is 36, so get your facts right first and try and make a point out of your thread.
It's not so much the age, everyone ages differently, take Martinez for example. Also, Marquez isn't so bad at this age, he has enough to clean the house at 135, 144 or 145 is a completely different story though.
