Does Paul Williams owe Quintana a third fight?

A third fight with Quintana isn't a bad idea for Williams right now, IMO. He doesn't owe Quintana that fight though. If Paul can get a couple wins under his belt I'd love to see him and Martinez fight a third time too.

Cant we just as easily say the first fight was close (Paul-Martinez 1) and that Paul got caught in the second fight? Cant have it both ways. I would have no problem seeing Quintana-Williams 3 or Williams-Martinez 3, if thats what youre saying. rubber matches make sense. the more fights the better.

There is something to be said when the rematch ends in quick fashion that leaves it a bit open. While I believe that Martinez is above Williams because he should have won the first fight and won the second handily, I do not believe Williams is better than Quintana. No...Paul put pretty much an exclamation point on it with the 2nd fight.... I doubt anyone is really interested in seeing a 3rd fight...outside of someone who just dislikes P.Will or is some Quintana lover... But that's 99% of bs though.

I wouldn't say he owes Quintana a third, but it wouldn't be a bad comeback fight. it's not going to have alot of hype and interest but I think that's just what Williams needs and then another win or two to get his name back in the frame.

He doesn't owe him,but the fights there & that's an easy way to get back into the fray.Burner U might as well just give up on it though.People have never liked the Punisher,he's got what,like 2 fans on BS??He doesn't have the option to fight bums or shot to $hit fighters on ppv & have boxing fans blame everyone else but him for it.That's why I support him though,because he's a real fighter. It was a really good fight till he got caught, and they knocked each other down in the first fight... its exciting, lets see a third, for no other reason than it would be exciting. I think if Paul Williams wins 2-3 fights in the next year convincingly you could definitely get Williams-Martinez 3. However, knowing how Williams and his trainer like to talk I bet they'll be saying they're ready after only 1 tune-up fight. I'd like to see the 3rd fight marinate properly though.

Indio beat him by outboxing him for 12 rounds while PW won by a flash KO before the fight got going. Now both are looking for rebounds and the fight would be a do or die for both. I think it would be a good fight for both fighters.

I'd have to agree that he isn't that good anymore but its not like Paul and Goosen have any top guys knocking on his door ready to fight him. I'd take Quintana over Latimore. Who else is there for Paul to fight???? Lara, Vanes, Lattimore, Angulo, Jones. Theres some better fights than a shot Quintana. Not you but others on this board are just being silly. Theres no point in a third Quintana fight. Now if he was still getting it in and wasnt shot then fine but he doesnt have much left and the fight wouldnt prove anything.

No because there is no interest in a third fight right now. If Quintana could get a win against someone like Angulo then maybe. Also Quintana Williams 1 was not controversial like Martinez Williams so they are two different situations. they should get a good win and then fight each other.

What happened in the second fight of both fights? yea but in one of them many people thought Martinez won the fight but in the Quintana fight nobody thought Williams won.
