corrales versus barerra at 130...who wins

Corrales is too big. Barrera is the smallest of the four great little guys of this era. He would struggle with the size difference.

130 may have not been Barrera's prime weight but I still think he has too much ring smarts and skills to lose to Corrales.

please vote IMHO Corrales (RIP) was just too big and MAB lacked the punching power to really hurt Corrales.

i say corrales takes it barerra had better ring smarts than corrales but what barerra lacks is the foot speed to be elusive enough against corrales size and power barerra has respectable power at 130 but without footspeed that floyd and casa had corrales will be able to touch him up and corrales hits hard enough not as hard as pac but hard enough to keep barerra in a defensive mode and fight to survive like he did against pac in the rematch

This is about a size that is not fair to Barrera. Because, P4P skill vs skill, style vs style, prime vs prime. Barrera handily beats Corrales. But, that version of Chico at 130 against the version of Barrera when he was at 130 the size differential and Barrera being past prime will give Chico a great advantage that he will take this fight.

Barrera's ring smarts is enough to frustrate Corrales into a UD IMO. and Corrales doesnt have solid chin either. so he cant come in without respect looking for that one big shot. Correct. Rocky Juarez hurt MAB. Jones KO'd him. Chico would have a big natural size advantage over Marco as well. I think Chico could win a boxing match. He beat Casa in one, and he's as tricky as they come. MAB would outbox him and as someone pointed out MAB had the chin to do it. All he has to do is avoid getting into any exchanges, I'd pick MAB in this one but I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome.

Very good fight. If the Corrales who beat Frietas and Casa shows up I give him a great chance at beating MAB. If Junior Jones could do it then Chico could. Decision or KO.

sal has the better footwork and skills but Alexis has the power to turn the fight in his favor but if Ruben olivares was whupping alexis b4 the KO i think Sal would stop him like he did vs africa's best fighter ever and Puerto Rico's best ever azumah nelson,and wilferdo gomez he would add Nicaguarca's best ever to his list lol that's kind of how i had it because azumah and wilfredo were no joke. just a couple of days ago i rewatched sal vs gomez. just looking at wilfredo and the way sal had him on the ropes...i was like damn.

Barrera was a superb boxer puncher. He's one of the best combination punchers in this era. Corrales was good and exciting but he was one-dimensional no disrespect. Barrera would have schooled Chico.
