I'm actually a fan of both fighters and if there won't be a Bradley-Khan, or Judah-Khan, then why not Kendall Holt? He has nice jab, explosive power, intelligence.....As a Khan fan along with being a Holt fan, I would honestly be surprised to see Khan leave the ring without any assistance....How do you see the matchup?
Holt hasn't earned a shot yet that's true, but considering mccloskey did, then why not. Holt is a monster, Khan would get knocked out, Holt will land that left hook.
holt is dangerous for khan, but he doesn't let his hands go. either khan outworks him or khan get KTFO
Khan is not dangerous in the 2nd half of the fight though. Holt is a lot dangerous in the 2nd half. Holt needs the right trainer to take him to the next level.
Holt is dangerous. High risk, low reward for Khan. Holt is rangier than Maidana, he can box, and has explosive power. If Khan wins, I can picture more headlines of "Khan surviving" moreso than him outboxing or knocking Holt out. I would favor Khan to win, though. I would like to see this fight.
I agree. Remember, Holt KD Bradley once (well technically twice but you know what I mean) and Bradley is one tenacious fit mofo. You have not heard about the rematch right? ;)
Khan don't want any of that as both boxing skills are on parity.
I would favor Khan over Judah. Stylistically Judah-Khan is a pretty intriguing match. I'd like to see how well Khan does against a fast and crafty southpaw..Zab does have a big advantage with experience against top class(usually failing, but still). Ultimately I feel Khan's superior workrate and stamina glide him to an easy UD..
Not so with Holt..Sure I can see Khan winning a decision but honestly only if Holt breaks down or has an "off" night. Holt is good about raising his game to the level of his opposition. Holt has a tendency to be TOO patient but I think he's become more intelligent with his punch output. He also does a great job of using his opponents aggression against them. Holt, last night put it simply and beautifully: "What people don't understand is, if you're close enough to hit me, I can hit you!"
Can't be mad at this break down,I agree..:fing02:
I really don't know who would win, like Judah I feel like both fighters is as flawed and have similar weakness..I would favor Khan over Holt and Judah but would not count either out..One shot(and these fighters punch straight not looping and slow like Maidana)is all it takes to turn off the lights..I would favor Khan over Judah. I see the fight going much different actually..
Khan's style of late has been fairly aggressive...I really see Holt allowing Khan to press the action, setting Khan up for the perfect "bait and trap"...of course ending in a KO.

Khan would be running for most of the fight, but get's caught early and never wakes up..I ask Khan fans a longtime ago do you think Khan would have got up from the shot that Bradley took from Holt..I believe I'm still waiting on the answer, imo he does not get up..Khan will never fight a(rangy)power puncher who shoots their shots straight..That goes for Abregu as well..I see the fight going much different actually..

isnt holt fighting at 147 these days? im quite sure he is and that he cant make 140 anymore, i dont want to see him kill himself to make weight and fight like a corpse just for a payday.
if we say they were at the same weight, the fight is way too high risk low reward for khan. holt is a huge puncher and unlike maidana he can box aswell. he has very good boxing skills. sets traps, throws short accurate punches and puts fluid combinations together very well. very good counterpuncher too.
at the same time hes coming of some losses and khan wouldnt get a load of credit for beating him. i dont see it happening even though it would be a great fight imo.
if holt was to fight at 140 again judah-holt is a better bet. judah is fighting in jersey alot these days, is backed by a jersey promotional company and has really made that his new base. holt is from jersey aswell (i think) so it would create alot of buzz. two somewhat chinny punchers whit loads of speed, would make for a great explosive fight probably ending with someone stretched out on the canvas.

I'd love to see it though. Second most likely outcome is holt by total decapitation.
As I said in the fnf thread last night, I'll watch holt fight anyone anytime.
I would like to see Holt vs Peterson or Alexander as well..I see Peterson beating Holt tho,Alexander would be a toss up imo..

But he'll fight a garbage fighter like Bradley
Of course he'll gamble against the best fighter in the Div,:duh:...Holt is not even ranked think if Khan lost by KO to him,it'd be Prescott all over again..He won't fight Abregu either..Can ya name the rangy power puncher Khan fought??I'll wait for the name..
I believe guys around his own height and range give Khan issues in the first place. And R-Rated is a good fighter, possessed of some other qualities that could cause problems for Amir.
Holt can fold mentally, though, if it starts going against him.
A test, if Holt is anywhere near his best.
Amir would be cautious early but outbox him as the rounds mount holt just isn't busy enough and amir would move in and out frustrating him and making holt tentative to throw and look for a big ko shot. But i think a Holt- Prescott fight maybe even on FNF would be a better fight at this time Prescott keeps calling out Khan but he needs to step up and make himself a serious opponent w/ win against good comp and that fight would be entertaining give Holt another highlight reel KO
