Teddy Atlas: If Manny is that great he should step up and fight Sergio Martinez!

Pacquiao will never be great until he becomes the Heavyweight champ.

Exactly why should Pac have to step up another division and face a guy who is 5inches taller as well p4p the no2 guy in the world? SRL stepped up to middleweight, 2 divisions from his original weight WW and that was enough for people. Lets not forget how tall SRL was at 5ft10 facing Marvin hagler who was shorter. Do people see how ridiculous it is to underestimate what Pac has achieved.

I would most definitely like to see this fight, and if Pacquiao beat Martinez it would be HUGE for his legacy. unless youre a Pacquiao fan thats afraid of seeing him lose, then you want this fight to happen. Its one of the best matchups possible in boxing, why the hell wouldnt you want to see it?(at 154 only) First things first is Pac vs Floyd. Listen, yeah people want to see him in with better competition, BUT wtf can he do if his weight class has none? You can't just automatically expect him to put his health at risk at a higher weight class than his body can handle, to f**king satisfy you??! What he should do, is look for better competition at the slightly lower weights, since that is his natural weight anyway (Khan, Bradley, somebody!)
