could be more about shane being a lot softer with age than pacquiao's actual punching power. his last fight with vernon was almost a decade ago.
agree.... mosley's punch resistance has gone down with age. no one's punch resistance always stays at the same level
personally, i think Floyd will UD Pac if ever they fight because of Floyd's style. If Pac will ko/tko Floyd, which I think the reason why Floyd is avoiding the fight, then it will seal Pac's legacy, as I think Pac should already retire from boxing after a Pac - Floyd fight.... :boxing:
pacs legacy is already sealed. :cool2:

can anyone photoshop this and put shane on a beach? :lol1:
This might sound silly because Shane is the one in there getting hit, but i think he is wrong.
The reason is that his perception would have changed. He is a lot older now and arguably shot (if not close to it). Even in the Mayweather fight he was discouraged by punches Floyd threw.
If you look at his fights with Oscar, Forrest and Wright he took alot of big shots time and again and was ok and wasn't discouraged (cept against Viper for a few rds). It's just that he is older and not seeing the shots coming, and NOT TAKING THEM AS WELL AS WHEN HE WAS YOUNG.....and on PED's himself.
If Manny hits harder than ODLH and Vernon Forest at WW, then i'm sorry he is 100% on a cocktail of HGH, insulin, testosterone, EPO and whatever else. The reason i say this is why wasn't he KOing JMM, Larios and other guys at 130. HE hit JMM plenty of times......way more than he hit Shane....why isn't JMM dead????? It's ridiculous really, you may increase overall power moving up, but relative to the bigger men it won't have the same effect.
Manny has increased his speed, punch output and POWER. How can a guy from 130.....who wasn't decapitating guys in the lower weights he was hitting over and over suddenly hit harder than ODLH at 147, a guy that has destroyed fighters with a single left hook???
I personally feel MP is on PED's, but even still he isn't hitting as hard as ODLH or even how hard Shane used to for that matter. It's just Shane's perception....he is older, not as strong....his ability to take a shot isn't what it used to be (again look at the Floyd fight) and he can't see them coming anymore. For the first few rds of their fight Manny hit Margarito at will and Margo went to the corner saying he couldn't hurt him.....that doesn't sound like someone who is hitting harder than the Viper or ODLH??......it when Margo got caught with that brilliant short uppercut he didn't see in a bad spot (orbital bone) that he got hurt.
I think it's more of Manny developing better techniques in his punching, if you watch his fights at the lower weights, Manny already with lightning speed hands threw his combos with a punch and a tap, a punch with the left and a semi jab with the right so in reality his combos then were very raw and just half-powered... Now Manny throws his right with the same conviction as his left, Mosley got caught with a fast hard 1-2 to the chin in the 2nd round...

If you look back 8 to 10 years ago. Manny threw punches without sittng down on them and with no technique. He would basically throw the MMA's version of the superman punch in fights. Even though he was winning fights he fought like an amateur. With his wild buzzsaw like style and work rate in the ring that gave other fighters fits. When he started to develop in to more of a complete fighter under Roach. He mastered the right hook and his left hand has improved with that amazing footwork. He became a better puncher. He punches from weird angles that hurts or stuns his opponents with shots they don't see. Manny has good power but he does not have great power. The last person he KO'd was Hatton. Dela hoya, Cotto, Diaz was basically stopped due to the accumaltion effect form his onslaught. Plus Mosley did get hit behind the ear which threw off is equilibriam. But for him to say that he never felt power like that before I think Mosley is stretching the truth a bit. Mosley been in the rings with the likes of Forrest, De La Hoya, Vargas, Cotto, Mayorga, and Margarito. I just don't see Manny punching harder than any of them.
Already translated above:
Translation of Mosley speak:
"I no longer can see shots in time coming at me, and I no longer can take shots when they hit me. But I still like getting the big bucks. Pay me again fools. Next time I really will defeat father time, I promise you. Just give me another chance, I'll show you. It'll be a great fight with..."
And nowhere does Mosley say Pac is on drugs, rather the opposite, that he is great. But the translation above shows it is really simply about Mosley being shot, yet planning on stealing fools' money still again.
Really so your going to tell Shane how he feels about his own performance and experience in the ring? So we should listen to you, not Shane?
Honestly it sounds fake, and I know that fighthype has gotten exclusives from Shane before, but the way that Shane is speaking via this article doesn't sound like the way Shane usually speaks; he's cussing, he's in shock and sh*t. I've never heard a fighter talk about a fight with such enthusiasm days after the fight, usually in the interview immediately after the fight they'll mention how the fight went, but Shane is giving us more detail about the fight after several days...it just doesn't happen, usually guys play it down after awhile like, 'yeah he was the better man that night' or 'he caught me with some good shots, I never recovered,' but to throw this out (with a subliminal message, and we all know what it is) just doesn't sound like Shane or like any fighter for that matter. I also loved how the article ended, "Or has Pacquiao taken too much out of both fighters to make it as entertaining as the first." C'mon you can't tell me they're not trying to put some sh*t out. smh
Fighthype writes it exactly how they say it, you think Bella wasn't cursing, u think she not pissed? Shane is angry ans think Pac on PEDS
Check it out....................Green K/Points

I think he's just trying to find a way to explain his poor performance and not trying. He doesn't look lost in the 4th and 5th rounds at all.
Now he's saying he was in there with Tyson so he had no choice but to run? And anyone can see that he was more shook up by Forrest's shots than by the one from Pac.
shane was the guy in the ring and from his and Bella's tweets yesterday they think Pac is dirty.

he linked the "article" and has let it be known Pac's power was unnatural, he doesn't sound in awe, he sounds angry.
sounds angry does not really means that he is (Angry)... do you think he was angry after given the chance to have a big paycheck fight with Pac?
Maybe with that $5 mil of people's hard earned money he can finally buy a real:

One fight doesn't make or break him though, he fought everyone.
I was hoping he would give people a FIGHT, like he said he would. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.
that's actually pretty good, i've never heard it. green k for you.
Not quite... I have 30 plus years under my belt and so I tend to not be a proud member of the Playstation generation. I know you kids are used to seeing these type of special effects on your TV screens but I like to think and not be told what to think. When you have Manny who started at 105lbs... suddenly showing a dominance over bigger fighters that was simply NOT there when facing much smaller fighters, and the fact that he is very very suspect about how and when he is tested... Sorry, something is very funny about this scenario.
NO Welter/middleweights should be freaking out over Manny's "power." You are pop culture groupies who question nothing. Don't forget to run out and buy the NEW Apple Ipad 2 !!!!
that is the problem in there.. you people think that all fighters are the same, which is NOT.... that is why you have such fighters as ATG because they have achieve acomplishment that most fighters didn't....
