Yeah, yesterday I was moving out my sister & I had a talk with a Rican about the Wvjr-Arce fight & fighters from both countries & so.He was really respectful of Mexican fighters.I'll try to write it as close as he said it.He said,Mexican fighters are hard fighters, they can take a punch & they have great wind,(meaning stamina). He said the altitude where they train in Mexico gives them really good wind & they fight hard for 12 rounds. We talked about other stuff too,but it was refreshing to talk to 1 of either that had the curtsy to be respectful.
yeah "3" Mexicans represent "all" Mexicans
wow
you're truly educated beyond belief
I didn't say all, I said most. There's definitely some very sharp and well mannered Mexicans here, but they are vastly overshadowed by the sh1t talkin Mexicans. I don't have any reason to say this against Mexicans, I have Mexicans friends and have interacted with a ton of them only to learn that they are cool as fukk. This forum just happens to have a lot of the crappy ones. Just my observations.
I have to concur with the resounding sentiments previously stated in this thread.
Only online will you find brash, ignorant, trash talkers like that. In the real world, boxing fans love other boxing fans.
Puerto Rican, Mexican, Filipino, Ukranian, Danish, Polish, Irish, American, African, Cuban, Dominican, Russian ; it doesn't matter to us. Like Mak said, it's like finding someone who speaks the same language as you.
I agree with this to the fullest!!!! :fing02:
Ricans are respectful here too. Even BP is when you play to his ego, but that's very rare from him. The Ricans here are not nationalistic, uneducated cunts like most of the Mexicans. I mean look at this thread, friendly banter by everyone except for the 3 Mexicans who talk sh1t in their posts. :lol1:

Is this real life?
Has to be strange after being on BoxingScene.

If you go to a PR -MEX weigh in or fight, you will have plenty of friendly smack talking back and forth, great rivalry convos and great convos about the sport of boxing.
dude only in message boards will you find that disrespectful crap
finding someone in real life that KNOWS about boxing is like finding someone that speaks the same language as you...there wont be any kind of disrespect rather, a sharing of ideas
TOTALLY AGREE!
Nothing better then discussing boxing with a TRUE FAN and not a guy who only like fighters who are the same race as he is and always have to make things about "RACE VS RACE"
My list of favorite fighters Current and All Times is so diverse it looks like a bag of Skittles lol
Puerto Rican boxer needs to get out of the island and start training in places like big bear. I see that pressure fighters are giving them problems.
Ex;
Calderon vs Segura
Cotto vs Margarito
Vazquez vs Arce
They need more stamina.
