This guy needs to stop getting in trouble and start challenging bigger names. I think he has the tools to be a champ. I really do. But he needs to step up ASAP. I think he'd be a handful for any of the 140 beltholders. I think Alvarado has a shot at a W against any fighter in JWW period. What do you guys think? I'll respect your opinion but don't be a moron. Haha.
He must punch really hard.
The two times I've seen him fight. One guy had to be rescued from by his corner between rounds as a result from some pretty scandalous reffing. And the other fight the other guy just quit because he we was worried. Which is terrible to be honest, maybe there is more to it than that. But he beat the fight out of his opponent without ever really landing anything that looked that big, but wild swings that looked like they could fell a tree.
I'm interested in him and seeing how he does.
yeah, he def has power, but needs work on his technical skills. like i said he's got the tools just needs the schooling.

Rios vs Alvarado at 140 would be a sick fight. Not many other options as alot of fighter with Goldenboy.
damn that'd be sick! i didn't think about that one! but i think rios has unfinished business at 135.
I dont know if quite at that world class level but fighters have won belts with less than he can bring to the table. If he keeps a steady schedule I dont see why not, not everyone that has a belt is a slick boxer.
not impressed with him.....he's at sotto karrass level
i think he's a bit more talented than that. but don't forget soto-karrass gave mike jones, whom everyone was riding, ALL he could handle in their first fight. and that's what i mean when i say that Alvarado will give any of these 140 fighters all they can handle.
