ANGULO vs COTTO

Like Cotto is fighting a younger stronger Margarito.

angulo can't fight in the states, that makes cotto/angulo a fantasy fight fight could happen in Mexico, or even PR. that fight would generate a HUGE gate in either place. that's a fact.

First of all stop using "angulo" and "elite" in the same sentence Second of all saying cotto doesn't have the balls to fight a fighter who isn't even eligible to figgt is laughable Third cotto would most likely beat him, the cintron fight will tell you this IMO it doesn't, Cintron is nearly 6 ft tall and used length to keep Angulo at range, Cotto is even shorter than Angulo and can only keep him off by using angles, and we all know that he fades late in fights and is now past his weight class/prime. If Cotto stuck to a boxing game plan then he could do well, but that doesn't help his stamina and now he even cuts/swells more than he use to. Angulo would win by late KO IMO. Cotto should go after Chavez, who i think he'd destroy.

He was reportedly sick and if you watched the fight, he was on the verge of KO'ing Cintron in the last round. You can't have great performances everytime out and I think he learned from that loss.

Good fight. Angulo is due a shot, Cotto could use a solid 154lb win and style wise we know it works well on entertainmant value (see cotto vs Marg). I like Miguel to box his way to a clear points decision but one were he has to work for it

I don't think Cintron beats Cotto, even though Cotto has more wear and tear on him, he's still a better boxer and is a warrior. Cintron is a good boxer and excellent athlete but he doesn't have the hear to hag with Cotto for 12 rounds IMO. I think Angulo beats Cintron in a rematch and a Angulo Cotto fight would be great but it's not happening. Cotto will fight JCC Jr, Marg or Canelo to make those final big paychecks.

At this point, I would not be surprised one bit if he did. To me it's almost an even match. Honestly, I wouldn't do it if I was Cotto. Not because Cotto can't win but because even if he did, he would go through hell doing it. It won't generate much money outside of the hardcore base and a fight with JCC Jr. or Canelo would generate a much bigger payday and might even be less risk. Truth post^ I mean let's be real, here.
