look at the fight percentage and see who dominated more..numbers dont like people....sure mannys hits harder..but floyds was more accurate and took less percentages of the shots in his fight

even with your stats
pac threw nearly 300 punches more and only landed 16 more...bwahahaha
Idiot, nobody here said that Pacman is accurate, he's busier than his opponents...

man i don't care about anything people got to say I watched both fights and can think fo myself..floyd vs shane was a fight..mosley got schooled and that was it..against pacquiao it was like a sausage fest..they kept touching gloves every 2 second..no action at all..next time they should put a bed inside the ring and let them make out if they like each other so much..I bet paris hilton would pay to attend the huggery.
If you're going to show the Mayweather-Mosley compubox stats, you should also show the Pacquiao-Mosley compubox stats ... not the showtime stats. Compubox had Manny landing 224/727. Otherwise it's not really valid comparison since they use different systems to count punches.
the punch stats are the most misleading stats in sports imo :lol1:...BOTH dudes did a number on my boy Shane....Manny won EVERY round and scored a KD...Floyd did his thing...BUT he got rocked and ALMOST went down and MAYBE out...IMO, Manny beat Shane probably a lil' better than Floyd did,,,BUT as in most of their commons...Floyd fought maybe a better version of Shane... a more CONFIDENT Shane coming off a KO win...I mean, if you gonna play compare games then you REALLY have to play it right and take certain things into consideration :cool2:
My dude thats the whole point of Manny. His output. Hes not going to land every shot. Hes not a counter puncher. He wants to land 1 out of 3, but that 1 is going to KTFOutta you.
mosley actually tried to counter wifebeater and still had a chance to KTFO wifebeater because wifebeater has slightly more power than malignaggi.
against pac, mosley was running a marathon to get away from pac's power.
you can't really compare the two performances because mosley was still trying to land a haymaker against wifebeater, but was in full retreat survival mode against pac.
The only people I see trying to make this into some great victory are the pactards...everyone else was just disappointed to see a horrible fight as far as I can tell.
no one is pretending the fight was a classic, you fukking twat
Floyd vs Shane was way more exciting, but still...Shane looked like he crapped his pants after Pac dropped him, he fought like a coward. I hope Pac vs Floyd gets made, boxing needs it!
true..but ALOT of manny shots wernt landing either..hed throw 5 and land 1 clean blow..but it would be a hard shot
Your statistics did not show that Pac landed less because Mosley is running. Floyd landed more because Mosley is not afraid to fight him.And your statistics did not show knockdowns which is scored 10-8.
The contrasting fights tells me 2 things. Floyd can go offensive effectively if he wanted to, while Manny can put up a good defense if he put his mind to it...
Due to Mosley's different approaches in each fight, and the different styles of Floyd and Manny, the stats comparison really is meaningless. I look back at it as both Manny and Floyd completely shut him down in there. That is really the only stats that matter.
Both of them forced Mosley to retreat, which was kinda shocking to me, especially when Floyd made it happen. I never would have expected that. Manny's knockdown of Shane and his ability to shake him up constantly also shocked me as Shane has incredibly strong whiskers.
In all honestly I think bout boths were equally impressive. I give neither the edge as far as who looked better.
Against Floyd, Shane just couldn't find the openings. Against Manny, Shane didn't want to get knocked out and was scared of Manny's power.
I expected Floyd to be the more economical puncher of the two (in comparison to Manny) but the shocker, and there were two, was
1. For people to say Manny has no defense, Shane has just as bad of a connect percentage in comparsion to Floyd, but also threw 200 less punches. I'm baffelled that not only did he land more on Floyd, but threw almost 200 more punches against Mayweather than against Pacquiao. Again if Manny is so open and has more holes in his defense, why did he throw almost 200 more against Floyd than against Manny?
2. Floyd landing more than Manny, atleast on Showtimes punch stats. I know compubox has Manny landing 20-50 more, but for those who claim Floyd doesn't put punches together whereas Manny is know for his high pace and output, I'm shocked the gap was as close, and is Showtimes case, Floyd landed more.
I think the myth of Floyd not being offensive and Manny having poor defense, were pretty much put to rest IMO.
i think both have the capability to be defensive in manny's case and offensive in floyd's case but they prefer the other style over the other.
pac rather take some punches to give more of his own
floyd rather stay on the defensive and win comfortably with fewer output
