Floyd has had just 1 fight in the last year and a half and he's only had 2 fights in the last 3 and a half years but he cant get a tuneup before facing the best fighter in the world who people are calling an ATG? Not to mention that tuneup might be against a young explosive lion. Someone keeps bringing up Mosley. Again, Mosley had been much more active then Floyd overall. You keep hanging on the JMM fight that most of you same people called a joke and before that Floyd had been off 2 years. Dont act like Shane was so rusty compared to Floyd because that was a joke. Furthermore Shane just went through a full training camp for the Berto fight so its not like he was doing nothing. He did everything but get in the ring. It wouldve been like Floyd going through a whole camp for JMM but not getting in the ring. He still wouldve been fine. You can say alot of different things but this one doesnt fly and you know it. It's not like either fighter fought this year, so I'll give them a pass. HOWEVER, people complaining about Manny not negotiating with Floyd for this fall should be criticized as he obviously needs a tuneup.
