I couldn't believe the candid comments at the post fight speeches:
Pac seems uncharacteristicly pissed a bit and accuses Shane of running from him (rightfully so!)...
While Mosley pretty much admits he tasted Manny's power and decided to run to survive? :wtf:
damm shane couldnt even take the shades off LOL!! thats how ashamed he is about his performance..
are you simple?
boxers wear glasses to mask the damage to their blackened eyes
do you think they just magically heal after the fight?
the damage from a hard championship prizefight takes weeks to heal
antonio margarito still has a black / reddened eye from manny pacquiao ****ing his face up in his last fight
Against Pac you have to be great defensively or offensively. Running is a good thing to do. Pac makes you fight like you dont normally and you have to adjust to avoid the punches.
Clottey fought like a turtle, and are you telling me he always fights like that?
Pac shouldnt worry too mcuh about people running from him, it is a pattern that is emerging now. Cotto had to run as well, and FLoyd certainly will as well if he can. Use it as practice.
Manny seemed fed up with the nice-ness by the end of it all which is funny because I remember Floyd getting mad at Shane in their fight for wanting to touch gloves so much.
It's possible Shane just gives these guys too much respect to take enough chances...
damm shane couldnt even take the shades off LOL!! thats how ashamed he is about his performance..
mosley has to know that his performance against pac was as bad as clottey's performance against pac...
Yeah. Shane was defiantly embarrassed and intimidated by Pacquiao. I feel bad for the fans this fight happened, shambolic matchmaking has to be part of the blame.
As Pacquiao said 'He doesn't want to fight with me or engage', that's the vibe I had. Mosley wasn't there to have a war last night, just see out a decision, and be all touchy feely with Pacquiao.
These guys were to nice to fight one another.
