Throughout the entire fight Mosley just seemed to be on the defensive, never seemed interesting in letting his hands go.
At times I got the impression he was there to see the final bell. I know it was a big ask, but why wasn't his letting some bombs go, I know there was a chance he would of got KO'd in the process, but that the risk you take.
He promised the boxing world he would bring the fight to Pac, and let power punchers go. But what we got was a scared and timid Shane. who just looked happy to survive.
I can't help but feel disspointed from him.
Do you agree?
shane never came to fight... (serious)..
truth is he cant come out and say he just did it for the money, but seeing from that performance you can tell he had no intention of fighting that night... sad really and i lost alittle bit of respect for mosley for lying to fans insisting it was going to be a good fight...
i swear i heard "styles make fights" over a million times from mosley/arum... well obviously it didnt so can we let that phrase die already!??
"Styles makes fights", yes Arum, Team Pac, Roach and most of the boxing fans were expecting more from Mosley, I like Mosley as a fighter coz he has this attitude of a fighter that doesn't give up too easily. Mosley didn't give up on Flolyd, he was frustrated at times but still tried his best to look for that one moment again to land a big right in the end rounds... But with Manny, the turning point i think is the 3rd round big KD, Mosley was still in a fighting mode before the KD and i think it shocked and surprised him to get KD'd by Manny, then Mosley backpedaled all the way. And Mosley's best defense of the night, THE TOUCH GLOVES, those made Manny reluctant to go for a kill against a FRIENDLY OPPONENT.. way to go Shane...

shane didn't come to war... he came to box, but when pac hit him, he started running
he came to win at first
then he got knocked down
after that, pure survival mode
disappointed in Shane
^^^^^ This is what I also believe. For the first few rounds before the KD you can tell Shane was really determined in winning. PAC and Shane were in a tactical match but after the KD it was totally different. The way Shane reacted to the KD was shocking.
Absolutely. Shane was very happy to see the fight out. I don't think Shane had any real intentions to win imo. I felt from the start Shane was only trying to survive, he didn't believe in himself and didn't want any. Pacquiao was to nice to Mosley. he could have put a real beating on him, but he is to much of a nice guy...
I got that impression to.
