If wlad beats haye is he the greatest heavyweight of all time???

I hope this is a joke. How many HOF's has Wlad beaten? We'll find out in about twenty years. In the meantime, any talk about HOF fighters is only so much hot air.

What're you lol'ing about? I love Louis but take a look at his resume. I'm laughing at you saying Wlad's resume is on par with Joe Louis, a guy that almost any historian would consider atleast a top 5 HW. They called it the "Bum Of The Month Club" for a reason. He fought very few good opponents during his title run. That's actually not true. He fought many good opponents during his career. Which consisted of over 20 Top 10 ranked fighters, plenty of those being in the Top 5. Oh, and actual HOF'ers ontop of that too.. His claims to fame are beating a guy with 7 losses and 4 draws (Max Scmeling) and for getting lucky and knocking out a 175lb Billy Conn who had been beating the Heavyweight Champ around the ring. Yeahhhh, Joe Louis' claim to fame are just those two wins... Nothing to do with his 12 year reign and 25 title defences which just how happens to be an all time record. Lucky against Conn? How? Because he punched him in his face and knocked him out? I'm sorry isn't this boxing? How is that lucky? The 2 best opponents he ever fought, Charles and Marciano, both handed him embarrassing losses. So what are we deciding to forget Joe Louis was 36 and past his prime for Charles and certainly Marciano? I guess not. I wonder what people would say about Wlad if he were dropped by a guy who looked like Tony Galento. Ahhhh, the old 'Toney Galento' argument, this one has been beaten to death. Archie Moore (old), Floyd Patterson x2, Henry Cooper x2, Sonny Liston x2, George Chavalo x2, Karl Mildenberg, Cleveland Williams, Zora Foley, Ernie Terrell, Jerry Quarry, Oscar Bonavena, Joe Frazier x3, Jimmy Ellis, Buster Mathis, Bob Foster, Ken Norton x3, George Foreman, Ron Lyle, Jimmy Young, Earnie Shavers, Leo Spinks x2, Larry Holmes, and Trevor Berbick. Plus he was involved 4 times in fight of the year fights. If you question the people on this list do your research on the fighter at the time and how many became or were world champions. I'm not knocking Wladamir but with the help Emmanuel Steward he has become a better and complete fighter. I would not put him as the GOAT but Hall of Fame for sure. 1. Archie Moore...was 85 years old and a former middleweight 2. Floyd Patterson- Jeff Lacy would have beat Floyd Patterson and they were probably about the same size 3. Henry Cooper? is this a joke. I know the dude just died, but if you think he could even compete with a guy like Sosnowski youre a joke. 4. Sonny Liston fights were both rigged. It obviously won't make him the greatest but there are two things to keep in mind: 1. Wlad's level of opposition has been as good or better than that of Larry Holmes and Joe Louis, two guys considered amongst the top heavyweights of all time who never beat a HOF opponent who was anywhere close to prime. Louis had a few good wins, but Holmes really had nothing impressive in his entire career. Klitschko's resume is definitely on par with both. 2. People will respect him a lot more when he is gone and they see the gaping void left at the top of the division. It's not that hard to predict that none of Wlad's opponents will have a HOF career, maybe Haye when he KO's both brothers. Au contraire. It's quite probable that Byrd stands a good chance, being that he was a former world champion with wins over Holyfield, Vitali and Tua. Others have got in for less. But like I said, I can't predict the future.
