Yes i thought SRL was underdog but couldnt be 100% sure. So that is one difference between Pac and SRL. Pac is favourite to beat guys even when he steps up in weights. But hang on a second, can you remember if SRL was favourite to beat Donny lalonde?
You were one of the only ones, then.
No one expected Ray Leonard to win the fight, no one expected Ray Leonard to survive the fight.
It was a long time ago so I can't remember but If I recall correctly Ray Leonard actually was the favourite to beat Lalonde regardless to the fact he was coming off anothe retirement Vs. A naturally bigger man. Albeit the weight class fiasco was ridiculous.
Pac fought Cotto, Clottey and Margarito
Margarito fought Cotto, Clottey, Shane and Pac
Cotto fought Margarito, Clottey, Shane and Pac
Clottey fought Cotto, Margarito and Pac
Shane fought Cotto, Margarito, and Floyd
Floyd fought Shane.
Can u find the pu55y cat?
It will probably be
Pac fought SSM, Cotto, Margarito, clottey,
and is the only one out of the four to have a 100% win record. That is if he beats SSM.
He wasn't proabably the underdog. He was the underdog.
And actually, no, pretty much everyone expected Ray Leonard to be murdered by Hagler.

Honestly, the fight i thought would be incredibly tough and that he would probably lose, was the Marquez rematch.
I always go back to this fight when i want to see the best of Pac.
He can easily outbox, outwork, and outlast guys like Cotto, Clottey, & Marg, but Marquez made him step up his game in that fight and he did an incredible job. I was rooting for Marquez all the way, but i could not argue with the decision because the fight was close and entertaining and Paqc got the KD.
People were believers as soon as he came on the scene and beat Barrera. But the thing is Pac keeps stepping up in weight, so understandably he is made underdog in the earlier days when he is stepping up in weight class for the first time. Because it is supposed to be hard to do.
But he has been more dominant than anyone could ever imagine, so they eventually made him favourite as he steps up weights even.
SRL was probably an underdog against Hagler as well, but its not like people didnt believe in SRL.

I think the Cotto fight. What you got?
malignaggi before pac/cotto: if pac beats cotto, he is the greatest
malignaggi after pac/cotto: he's on PEDs
the truth is, haters gonna hate. even if pac beat Godzilla they would still hate.
i knew he would be a good welterweight when he demolished Hatton. Hatton was supposed to bully Pac, he was supposed to be stronger and bigger than Pac. but after beating Cotto from there on i knew he would dominate the welterweight division. ive been a believer since the ledwaba fight.
I think hatton... The Oscar fight was amazing, but i still had questions, "weight drained, oscar couldn't pull the trigger" etc etc.
Hatton i thought would really test Manny, then "boom goes the dynamite".
Then again, i thought cotto would probably beat him too. So probably a combo between cotto and hatton.
this is boxing. it's not a sport where you could compare one fighter against another accurately. one fighter fights more than any body else. the others get their fantasy matchups made in heaven for them. they get passes. so you can't compare fighter a from fighter b because fighter b didn't even have the balls to fight those fights fighter a fought. in the end it really doens't matter what clowns say. it's all up to you to decide. many boxing matches fans want to see will never happen, ever. that's for sure.
it depends on which nonbelievers you're talking about.
boxing fans in general have started believing after the barrera fight. some even earlier...after pac ko'ed ledwaba considering he was just a replacement on a very short notice.
now if you're talking about the flomos...those mothafockers will never be believers.
the delahoya fight. there was even a news about some politicians in his home country passing a law to prevent the fight from happening because of pac's big physical disadvantage.
I say Hatton.
Without the Hatton demolition I don't think he could have walked in against Miguel Cotto at welterweight as a betting favourite. In fact I don't think his match-makers would have even made the Cotto fight if he hadn't proved himself so resoundingly against Hatton.
Pac been doing this for years
Barrera picked to beat him first time
Terrible picked to beat again him 2nd time
Oscar picked to destroy him
Pac just kicked their asses though
