It's the same problem Mayweather has. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather would have to do something crazy like beat Martinez at 160 to impress people. They are too good to get full credit beating anyone realistic, even each other. I agree and I often refer to it as the "Jordan/Kobe" effect. I say this because Jordan and Kobe in their prime were so good that they made great defenders/teams look mediocre. Manny and Floyd are so much better than anyother WW that when they do dominated them, people think those guys just aren't that good, when it couldn't be further from the truth. TBH I don't think Mosley is as bad as most are making him out to be. Any version of Shane would have struggled against Mora, and I honestly don't see Floyd vs Shane looking any different whether they fought then, 5 years ago etc.

Look at the fighters he beat and the lead up to those fights and rethink that post. I agree. I garuantee you he wasn't saying that prior to those bouts.

Cotto, Hatton, Mosley and Margarito were all coming of their biggest loses and all looked like **** fighting bums before fighting pac. Hatton looked good in the pauli fight but pauli is still a bum. Take note also, Their losses were coming from each other except Hatton who lost to the former p4p#1 vacationer. What can you expect when they fight the best in their division, draw or win both? If you want to say Cotto got a gift well then you would have to say Clottey came off a win so they would cancel each other out. The Margs fight at 150 for a belt was a joke and this Mosley fight isnt what i want to see but lets not discredit what he has accomplished even if every fight isnt top quality. What about Oscar and Hatton? Who did you pick to win Cotto vs Pac? I think Oscar was favourite in their fight, and Hatton was underdog, but it was more like 3 to 1. Regardless Pac beat some good fighters. I see them as somewhat made to order but he's won impressively, so he deserves credit. I just take issue with the TS implying they were 50/50 fights. It's like Larry Merchant.....he can't stop praising MP in these fights and he is overwhelming favourite, whereas when he called the Mayweather vs Mosley fight he brang up the odds to basically **** on Mayweather.
