I have these men in no particular order:
Andre Berto
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Amir Khan
Manny Pacquiao
Zab Judah
Nonito Donaire
Lucian Bute
Sergio Martinez
Yuriorkis Gamboa
Paulie Malignaggi
All these men have been blessed with crazy handspeed
Discuss!!!
I can see where people would be skeptical of his power, and I would agree, at Welterweight. But if he chose to actually cut weight like 95% of other fighters, he can easily make 140 lbs and possibly 135. If he was fighting in his "true" divisions he would be decapitating people.
As for opponents, JMM has never been knocked out, but I see your point. Margarito I'll give you. Cotto you can argue, even though he didn't get KO'd, that the one-punch KD in round 4 finished him mentally. Hatton.. well you know what happened there.
All true!!!!!!!!!
Strictly handspeed...
As far as power Im not sold on Pac's power too much...
I mean he knocked JMM down thrice and couldn't keep him down... Margarito's beat down was quantity not so much quality. Cotto was beat thru time not off one punch... Aside from Hatton... I just don't know... But he does slice and dice you though... He makes more cuts than the New England Patriots...

But to address your point about his jab missing a lot and being "pathetic": Circa 2011 Judah is pretty much a joke all around outside of his few remaining physical attributes.
Are you serious. His Jab is pathetic and misses most of the time.
I must've stumbled into the wrong thread, I thought this thread was about hand speed.
Pacquiao when you consider the combos, power, speed and accuracy he throws them at.
You look at Khan he has crazy speed but lacks the accuracy and power. Mayweather does not throw combos and lacks power.
I think Gamboa is behind Pacquiao. Gamboa also throws them with power and speed.

Pac has the fastest. you cant measure the speed by throwing just one punch at a time or at their strongest, its got to be thru out the fight and hands down Pac has the fastest. he can keep up his speed thru out the fight for 12 round. i didnt see Khan's speed against Maidana in the later rounds when he was getting hit and getting tired. FLoyd has a fastest counter.
Gamboas hands are lightning, Berto probably has one of the fastest jas, mannys combos are insane, Donaire probably has the fastest/power ratio p4p, Floyd one of the fastest jabs, 1-2's, counters. his lad left is real fast. Khan has very fast hands, jab isn't that fast and his.combos aren't accurate like manny or Floyd, Judah has underrated speed, probably the fastest jab, and straight right, especially in the Floyd fight. Paulie very fast combos but no power and Bute And Martinez have fast hands for their weight, Martinez is by far faster than Bute should had put spinks on there instead of Bute or maybe Dirrell if you wanna go by that weight class
Interesting you said that because I was gonna put both of them down as well but you can only put down 10 choices for a poll...
I personally like how all their speeds are used differently too.. Floyd uses it for lead and counters. Amir puts them together to smother.. Pac uses straight punches in spurts to keep em off balance. Donaire is probably the best flash KO puncher of all of them... Zab uses it to keep that uppercut of his dangerous. Martinez has a lovely up-jab... Berto makes people think twice even though he has that suspect chin. Paulie keeps em at the end of his punches. Gamboa's faints are spectacular, punches are flash KO type like Donaire.

in terms of one punch speed with accuracy and timing i still think its floyd. im no hugger its just my opinion. fastest combination puncher is yuri gamboa. obviously pac khan berto are all very fast and i wouldnt argue if u had them above my picks ...

Floyd's one punch handspeed is faster than Pac's as well as Khan's BUT Pacquiao has gotta be the fastest combination puncher! I by accident voted for Paulie, but Zab imo has the fastest as he was a bit faster than Floyd, even in his prime.
