yeah i say he should get a rematch but not now. maybe if the fight was very close or controversial, but it wasnt. ortiz was just the better man that night. i dont think he is an overall better fighter than berto. it was just his time to shine

Yes, when the challenger beats the champ in a close fight there should always be a rematch.

The racist side of me says yes. The loving, caring side of me says no. It was a brutal fight and Berto was hurt pretty bad by Ortiz and clearly lost to a better fighter. If they had an immidiate rematch Berto could get seriously hurt.

No. It was great fight, so I'd like to see a rematch at some point, but Ortiz beat him decisively and Berto needs a good win or two to be considered for a rematch.

No. Ortiz dominated most of the fight, even though the referee did everything he could to help Berto. you think so? he was deducted a point and given a lot of warnings even though berto ducked into punches behind the head

Rematch? Yes because the fight was exciting and a few parts of the fight were give and take. Immediate rematch? No because even though it was exciting scrap, Berto in the end was dominated. Wasn't a close fight. And if you say otherwise look at the faces and the body language in Berto's corner after the last bell.
