Try hitting the heavy bag and notice the changes when your hand is deeper into the glove.
You get a better grip and your punches are harder with more impact.

I assume they wouldn't do it if there weren't any advantages. Pulling that padding real tight and as close as possible to the wraps sounds like it could be advantageous to me. With Reyes even more so Cause I'm pretty sure that they dont use foam type padding and the padding can really shift etc.
Ya i know but i taught i saw somewhere the commissions are against yet i see Pac and Cotto doing it and few more fighters.Surely something as noticeable as that should be cut out by the commissions if it gives a fighter a punching advantage
