It is a big fight and I see why everyone is excited, but will this fight be good viewing? I think the occasion will make them both nervous and knowing how bad their chins are, they will probably be cautious. Would I be right in thinking the rounds will be tactical and boring and then BOOM out of nowhere someone gets ktfo?
Look at Wlads other fights, its going to run similar to them except he is going to be even more defensive because the guy against him is fast and can punch very hard, and the way people talk about Haye's chin, look at it this way, it took wlad 12 rounds to knockout Fast Eddie who is smaller than Haye and takes a punch worse than david Haye, Haye's chin may be questionable but Wlad won't go in to K.O him, he is going to be mindful about Haye's big hits and he is going to turn it into a fight where he stays on the outside and jab jab jab's until he eventually wears haye down. Haye always has a chance though with his speed and power. If i had to pick a winner I'd go Wlad late rounds t.k.o
what are you talking about? aside from the klitschko fight i dont ever remember chambers going down or even being that hurt in a fight. haye has been dropped multiple times at cruiserweight and has been stopped. monte barrett dropped him but didn't get the credit for it.
anywho, i agree with the poster who said that this will pretty much be haye vs valuev all over again. klitschko may not be as big as valuev but he's still a pretty huge dude and he hits alot harder than valuev. personally, i dont think the fight will be worth the 2+ year wait, but i am looking forward to it
I think it'll be an interesting fight. Haye will taunt Wlad, if it doesn't have the desired effect, he will taunt him a second time!. Thats when **** starts to get crazy and Wlad starts launching farmyard animals at Haye. probably starting with a cow then moving on to sheep and ducks. Then Wlad will tell Haye that his "Mother Is a Hamster and his Father Smells of Elderberries!"
Haye is enraged by this and will start floating in-and-out like European butterfly and stinging like and African bee; Telling Wlad "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper!"
Meanwhile; Vitali will be at ringside shouting "You don't frighten us, English pig dog!. Go and boil your bottom, you son of a silly person!........
Seriously, I think it will be a pretty boring fight. They are both going to be very cautious. Someone is probably going to get KTFO, but leading up to that point could be a yawn fest. I just hope it's not a Haye vs Fraudly 2.0.
Don't hold your breathe. Despite what Haye says, the fight will not be as explosive as you think. Haye will probably adopt a safety first approach, looking for openings. Wladimir is a different beast to Valuev and he'll be whipping that jab out early, and clinching. Haye will start to unload in the 6-7 round if things aren't going his way.
I could also see this fight being a bore-fest, a boring lacklustre fight perhaps. Don't buy into the Haye hype - he isn't going to go all out - he'll be more tactical.

Well there are two schools of thought. There is the school of thought that Wlad is too big, experienced, strong and dominant and will simply jab Haye in the face, tenderizing him and then finishing him in the late rounds or making Adam Booth rush in the ring and attack Wlad with his high heels.
Then there is the second and moronic school of thought that Haye is too fast and will slip Wlad's jab and land a hayemaker and KO wlad. This retarded school of thought fails to look at fights Wlad has had with quick smaller fighters like Chris Byrd and how badly Wlad destroyed them and also fails to see that Haye sucks at slipping HW jabs and that Wlad in recent fights has seemed pretty damn comfortable when he gets bull rushed.
Now whichever (the first one will be right) school of thought is right, that fanbase will find the fight very enjoyable. The fans of the other school of thought and the people who base their boxing tastes on nationality, race, and popular opinion by biased semi-nationalistic media reporters will all say the fight was boring, or a let down etc...
Also, im a Wlad fan, and no I dont think he has an iron chin by any stretch, but his issues have been more stamina related. Hes been down 11 times, 2 of Peter's hits were pushes/rabbit punches, so i dont count that trash. The other times Wlad has been down either have been from sheer exhaustion (hanging on the ropes against Brewsterand the purrity) or there were headbutts involved (sanders/superbum). Its not like he's been knocked out cold or something. I'd say the biggest thing Manny helped him with was stamina. I dont know what happened in that Brewster fight, but after that, its easy to see Wlad seems to be more proportional physcially, pace himself more, and just seems stronger in later rounds. Wlad wont tire against Haye, Haye will have to do the work. Im not sure if Haye is willing to do the work at all and I feel that he'll be a deer caught in headlights. I think its going to be a very boring fight as Haye runs from wlad and my biggest concern is that Haye will run all night, and then he and hsi fans will say he was robbed on the 120-108 cards and that wlad won cause of holding.
Klitschko does NOT have a shaky chin. You are all wrong about that, and it was proved when eter hit him a few good wallops on the chin during their first fight. Klitschko dodn't even notice them and gave Peter his first loss. This was the next fight after the Brewster "mystery" and Klitschko deliberately took the Peter fight since peter was supposed to be a KO killer, just to show that there was nothing wrong with his chin.
No one seems to have noticed this, unfortunately, and I believe that he really hasn't been knocked down since then. That's about 6 years ago I think.
youre joking yourself if you actually believe Wlad's chin is not below average. I like the guy, but come on.
the fight may not deliver in drama ... but its going to be nice to anticipate and actually get excited for a hw fight finally. and its def going to have that megafight energy ... really looking forward to it
He was knocked down 3 times in that fight and was in danger of getting stopped in the 10th but the bell saved him. Apart from the knockdowns, he was hurt a couple other times as well. Pretty much any decent punch got his legs going. Nope, definitely has a shaky chin and I think everyone knows that.
One real knockdown and two clubs to the back of the head. But yeah, his chin is crap.

A lot of people want to see big-mouth Haye knocked out and humiliated in the ring. A lot of people want to see boring Wladimir knocked out and embarrassed.
Whoever loses, the fans win.
It will be boring as ****, but that will be masked by the insane tension we will all feel know that the fight is going to end one way or the other at any time. When a fight is this high profile and you KNOW it is ending with a KO, its going to be tense. As far as the action goes, Wlad will work behind the jab, and Haye will pose and throw about his usual 4 punches a round.
two big punching top 3 Heavyweights that both have shaky chins.
nope!

I think it will be Haye vs Valuev again for the first few rounds, until Haye explodes and KO's Wlad....
Thre was a song once called "Wishing, Will Make It So", so keep on wishing..(also words of the song).
After watching Haye run like a gazelle from Valuev I can't imagine that he would try and mix it up with Wlad. So no I can't imagine this fight being to great unless Haye grows a pair and actually fights Wlad.
If Haye plans on doing that, there is no way he's gonna outbox Wlad. He'd pretty much lose every round.
It will be a lot like when Abraham fights, even if he isn't throwing alot of punches the suspense is always there because he could land a ko shot at any time....now imagine 2 AA's fighting each other and they both have not so iron chins.
Hmmm that is true man. I guess even if nothing is happening the suspense will have everyone on the edge of their seats. Hey having a bad chin has its positives as well :lol1:
