Seda, Juanma, Calderon, Cintron, Quintana, Eric Morel & Rocky Martinez can all easily be champions again. Santos, maybe still has a fight in him still. Negron, Arroyo twins, Velazquez twins, Cruz, and plenty of more of great young prospects. Even Omar Henry is half Puerto Rican. I'm not worried but you are right, we have been losing lately.

If Cruz and the rest of the young talent fighting in pr would come fight here in the US they will improve and who knows what they'll become. Look at Tito he didn't even speak English but fought his whole professional carreer here. Same with Cotto.

I hope Vazquez wins just because he's younger. I want the sport to move forward. Lately, upsets have been happening. That's fine. Jump starts the sport. But, old bastards beating young guys doesn't help the sport. I wanna see some young blood get things going. That being said, I don't care about this match up too much as I expect Vazquez to easily win this fight so long as he prepares well and gets the fight going early in his direction.

Was calderon the favorite to win? Wasnt every one in here saying calderon was goin to school him? Only a few people picked segura. Even in the rematch people where picking him. And now even people here say he can still win a tittle but they say he shot. And you cant taking anything away from salido that was just embarising. People where even putting lopez on the p4p list. I had been saying Calderon was on his way down since the first Mayol fight and had a disagreement with Champ about it even then.
