Since it's Holy Week and the gym is closed for the whole week I decided to stay busy and made a punching bag out of car tires.
Give me your thoughts, I know it's difficult to say much out of a punching bag video but maybe you can catch somethings I'm doing wrong.
BTW I was planning on taking a knee at the end of the video but completely forgot.

Gotta do what you gotta do..Work is work..and in the middle of what looks to be your living room...Fu*k it!..nice.
I went and bought a 16'' tire and a 13'' tire. Took the 13'' tire and put it through the 16'' just by pulling it. Then I bought some eye bolt screws with their hooks at home depot and four 2' chains to attach he hooks and the eye bolts.
I'm 5'8.
Alright cool thanks!

When my trainer feels I'm ready, I'll do it just for fun and to live the thrill since I'm already 26, pretty old for a boxer. I've only had one amateur fight but if I can get to spar more often I think I'll get to improve quickly. It's tough making it on time after work to be able to spar in the afternoon. Maybe late 2011 or early 2012, I hope!!!
I'm at 140 right now, I can probaly get down to 130.
not too bad. u clearly kno wat ur doing. the tire set up is pretty impressive tho. i like it. what kinda glove/handwrap setup do u have there? 160z?
Yeah, 16oz Everlast Protex2 Evergel. Normal handwraps, the one my trainer always uses.
your style reminds me of cotto's...not sure if that is a good thing...
Considering that Cotto's been one of the most successful boxers in the last decade

Keep doing your thing TS!
No, I find them much easier on the hands than regular heavy bags.
Yeah, how I stand, with the head looking almost down, shoulder positioning and how I throw the jab have some of Cotto(in terms of look). I've seen all his fights several times and before starting to train I used to mimick his style just to fool around so I think it's something that I do without trying.
that's not a bag
Hence his quotations and his admission that they're made of tires
Try to keep up
Anyways...are you trying to secure a fight with Mayweather? Did he say you live too far away? Who's ducking who?
