If this fight can get made at 147, who would you guys pick to win this one?
I think Ortiz unfortunately gets concussed by the mentally unstable Kermit Cintron.
Its funny that we all talk so much **** about Cintron, yet we also give him a bit a respect when it comes to his chances with other fighters.
:lol1: :lol1: very true, i don't like him at all, but i know he isn't a bum either....
as for ortiz/cintron, i don't like cintron, so i'd root for ortiz :boxing:

This is because the irrational hatreds of the posters for a completely innofensive guy who has done them not a cent's worth of harm, is fighting with their reluctant realisation that he is a damed good and dangerous former champion and very much in the picture still.
In other words, they are mentally unbalanced, very commone with BoxingScenes posters..
Cintron is too big for the time being. Let Ortiz get used to the weight. He was put in there with Berto for pete's sake who stopped Cotto's first opponent at 147 when Cotto was on a winning streak. Ortiz had confidence issues and just over came that ****. Hist first fight at 147 was Berto lol That's just crazy...Just fight Mike Jones or Kell Brook to adjust to the power a bit more. I don't think he expected Berto to hit that hard.

if cintron doesn't jump out of the ring, there's a chance he'll beat berto cause berto gasses. cintron better have some strategy in the clinches also cause berto will be clinching like a mofo late
I think Cintron drops him with a right hand. Cintron is a lot bigger than him and has good boxing skills too, he is very underrated.
Cintron was actually bigger than Martinez by 6lbs, and Angulo by 10lbs (IIRC) when he fought both of those guys.
Cintron is a pretty huge dude....probably one of the biggest WW's in recent times.
TBH I wasn't too impress by Ortiz last Saturday.
I mean he did what he had to do, but he still has a ways to go before he is elite.
Cintron might be too big for him and I can see Kermit not just beating Ortiz, but stopping him in the process. Outside of the Margarito fight, Cintron has held his own and has taken shots from much bigger punchers than Ortiz (Angulo and Martinez). If Ortiz can't hurt Cintron, which he won't, I don't see him outboxing him as Cintron's skills are pretty underrated.
Just my two cents.......
