Out of 10 how would you rate Ortiz vs. Berto?

I give it a 8 overall because it was a one-sided ass whoopin. There were 3-4 really good rounds that bumped it up. The referee also made the fight bad because of the constant b*tching and badd officiating. The first KD that was ruled a slip was a legit KD. And the point he took away for rabbit punching was on the side of the head. That ref is a f*cking moron. FOTY is still Maidana vs Morales imo Morales had one eye completely swollen shut and still dug deep and would've won if he won the championship rounds. And he was a massive underdog.

An 8, would have been a 9/9.5 if Berto hadn't been forcing a clinch every 2 seconds after the 6th.

I would give ortiz an 8. He boxed well. He used effective pressure and kept his composure. I took two points away for defense; although much better he was vulnerable.

Expectation: 10 It was much better of a fight than I thought it would be. Drama: 9 The fact that both fighters seemed able to KD the one another just added to the drama behind the idea that Ortiz was about to pull the upset... What if Berto just landed that 1 punch that stopped Ortiz in his tracks... CRAZY Fight itself: 7 I think it was a little overrated. Aside from the KD's, it was a compeltely one-sided fight. Berto was holding way too much, and staying against the ropes letting Ortiz beat on him, and despite this, Ortiz wasn't really landing too many clean shot. Takes a lot away from the fight when u really pay attention to it Dramatic rounds: 9 Ortiz beating Berto into a cumble in the first minute of the first round was huge. Berto dropping Ortiz the very next was huge Round 6 was the most dramatic round, and one of the most dramatic I've ever seen Overall: 8.75 :) Great breakdown & I agree

it was a fight of two halfs, I would of given the first 6 rounds about a 9 and the last 6 about a 5, so 7 overall I guess, but tbh the first 6 rounds pretty much diminish my thoughts of the last 6. But still a 7 is fair, Berto's Holding got annoying towards the end.

8.5 -1 for all the holding Berto was doing. His new moniker should be "Huggz" or "Huggies" -.5 for the ref for doing such a piss poor job. Missed the a clear KD in the first, took a point for holding when Berto was the one turning his back, and didn't even warn or take a point from Berto for all the holding.

Al least an 8.5. The later rounds were boring cuz berto was a zombie in there, but all 4 of those kd's were brutal. At least thru 8 I still felt like bherto could take him out. Sheeeiit, I needed those last couple rounds to calm down!

How many fighters would have gotten up from that Berto right hand in the 6th? It was brutal and right in the center of the face. LOL if they had the same ref Juanma had Berto would of won by stoppage in the 6th

STRONG 8.5. Even though the last 5 rounds or so was boring. The drama that the first 6 rounds had will be something unforgettable atleast for me. It was crazy. Berto got knocked down twice and I was going crazy that perhaps Ortiz might actually win the fight then Ortiz gets knocked down and is seriously hurt to the point where the ref looked like he was gonna stop the fight then Berto gets knocked down again, it was awesome. Boxing for the past 5 months has been amazing.

I give Berto's performance a 8 and Ortiz performance a 9. The overall fight was a 9.5. How many fighters would have gotten up from that Berto right hand in the 6th? It was brutal and right in the center of the face. It was a fire fight between two big punchers that went 12 rounds, what more can you ask for. They showed chin, heart, they boxed, they fought, they swang for the fences, they gave boxing fans a little bit of everything. I saw both of them doing their fair share of holding so I don't know why people are complaining. Nothing is enough for any of you. Not every fight can be Vazquez-Marquez/Gatti-Ward.

i say a solid 9. the first 6 rounds were epic, haven't seen anything that great/dramatic in a while....the last 6 weren't as great but they were tired and continued fighting (somewhat for berto). it was a great fight overall, with an unexpected performance (and i didn't think it would of gone to a decision honestly) for me it's a 9. the later half wasn't as great, so that took away from it a bit...

8. Wicked fight. Great result.
