So far all the hype job fighters are being exposed for what they really are. First Jacobs, then alexander, then Kirkland, and now berto.
I just watched Khan fight tonight it was another victory over a nobody. THe guy really hasnt fought any tough opponents with the exception of Marcos and I thought he lost that fight. IMO it shouldve been stopped because he wasnt throwing back and he kept turning his back...but anyways I think they are carefully building Khans career by fighting easy opponents & calling out floyd to get a buzz.
Theres no way Khan faces Mayweahter, Manny, Ortiz, or rematches Marcos...He'll probably try to fight morales next because it wont be bradley..
What was your scorecard for Khan-Maidana? The argument that Khan should have been stopped is irrelevant considering he came back in the last 2 rounds.
fools like him also fail to point out maidanna had over two mins to stop him but couldnt AND that khan could have stopped Maidanna when he had him knocked down but only had 2 seconds as opposed to two mins which maidanna had...
i guess everyones a hypejob who people like him

Khan is a really good fighter with a weak chin... no hype job there, it makes him more interesting to fight, cause you know he can win, and you know if he gets caught he could go down...
I'd say at one point he was a hype job, but now everyone pretty much knows exactly what he is...
Khan is still being built by Roach. Manny was a jab and left hook fighter, and won on speed and power, however he has been trained to use better footwork, more angles and a right hand. With him being able to make weight and gain strength, with some lost of speed, he is much more dangerous.it just so hallens that from 135 up that guys slow down quite a bit, and Manny is still fast.
When Khan moves up, I expect him to have learned more combo's, more better use of his legs, and more composure. ATM he can look like a game plan, but he can learn because he listens.
Before, Khan was very natural, he use to go out and throw whatever he wanted. However the chin is in question, and Roach has slowed him down and makes him think. Roach always tells him in padwork when he can get caught. He also teaches Khan what to do after he gives a shot. Where to put his hands and feet etc...
A defensively minded Khan who covefs up his chin without losing too much offense is hard for anyone to beat.
You can only learn if you are willing to be taught, I don't think Khan takes what Roach says to heart.
Khan, much like Berto, is a guy who gets by largely on athleticism and speed rather than skills.
Khan's footwork is terrible for a world class fighter. His defense and balance aren't good, he's sloppy, and largely appears uncomfortable and "unnatural" in the ring. When you watch top level guys box, there's a level of comfort in there, their movements flow smoothly. Khan seems like more of a "programmed" fighter in the ring. He's been talented enough to get by with his flaws to win a title, but in terms of taking it to another level, he has a lot of improvement to make. And I mean a whole fukking LOT.
He's unlikely to be any more than a decent title-holder/champ, IMO.
I would agree pretty much completely and say it is even worse for Khan than that because he thinks he is the shit and if you think of yourself in such a way it is unlikely that you feel the need to improve.

Khan's not as big a hype-job as berto, but he better stay away from power punchers... that means Khan might be able to make a fight with wifebeater competitive
