Thats the thing though. Gamboa has the style but he doesn't have the following that Lopez has. TBH that only affects Gamboa's pockets, not his status in the sport. Roy was never doing big ppv numbers and neither was Hopkins, but were still recognized as elite fighters in the sport.

I don't think Gamboa needs Lopez to be a star in the sport. Did you guys not peep his last fight? His style speaks for itself and Gamboa clearly a star in the sport, with or without Lopez. Thats the thing though. Gamboa has the style but he doesn't have the following that Lopez has.
