I will say, more times than most, i've seen BS stoppages like this from Euro refs more per fight than other refs in other countries/continents............ The referee was Puerto Rican. However, it was not his fault, it was the ring doctor. The time was 1:56 of the round and the referee, as he is entitled to, called for the British Boxing Board of Control's doctor, Fraser Pinkney, to take a look. However, Dr Pinkney entered the ring, which I have never seen, examined the cut and then advised the referee to call it off. Inspections by doctors always take place in a corner, with the doctor leaning over the ropes and more often than not they involve the fighter's own corner men. The break with protocol was bewildering, the stoppage ridiculous and the understandable aftermath predictably ugly. It all sounds pretty fishy imo.

total classess move leaving before paul could even start talking. Karma is going to catch up to oscar and khan.

Just watch the video and wow seriously lack of class from Team Mccloskey and the crowd in that room, why was Paul and his team talking while Khan was addressing the media? Why was Paul leaning over Oscar? That really show a lack of class and am glad Khan and Oscar walked off, you could see Team Mccloskey have never been at this level before. But am glad this shiit happen to Team Khan because this shiity fight should never have happen in the first place, When you pay for something cheap this is what you get a low class set of people.

HAHAHA...:D Funny press conference...Pissed myself when McCloskeys side finally got the mic...The press listened to Khans side for about 15 mins and bailed on McCloskey after about 2 mins..Funny stuff Oscar looked pissed when McCloskey was crowding him...I was waiting for him to freak out

I can't believe McCloskey and his camp seriously think they are due a rematch. If I'm not mistaken, the bout was a voluntary defence and the fact of the matter is that McCloskey didn't win a round. Not only did McCloskey not win a round, but he barely landed a punch all fight and seemed preoccupied with making himself an awkward target rather than actually landing punches. The financial suicide of staging a rematch makes it even less viable.

Most are. But ive always defended Khan when people call him arrogant. I think he could conducted himself better. For a second when Khan was talking i swear i thought it was Naseem Hamed talking. Khans had a personality transplant, i remember him as the humble boy from Bolton.
