Khan was dominating, but he did look to be tiring a bit to me.
He looked nowhere near as sharp as he did against Maidana/malignaggi
So what do you think it was?
:pat:...You idiots actually think Khan looked like crap because he don't have his old waterboy (ariza) with him anymore?? Ariza is not a boxing trainer, he is just a ped laced shake maker/waterboy/loud mouth attention whore.
McCloskey looked like a high school kid who has never touched a weight in his life. He was awkward but Khan should've figured him out and adjusted after the first few rounds. Khan has a long way to go and will probably be eaten alive against an elite fighter.
It was just McCloskey's style....he was very slick, more slick than i expected....
he kept evading khans punches and trying to counter him
Khan needs to be landing at least his jab to get into it....
Plus McCloskey being southpaw made it even harder for him
I too think it was a mixture of a lot of things
Khan needs to move on from this. A lot of improvements need to be made me thinks. But fortunately Pac won't have a fight in (or near) July so i'm sure Khan will get lots of time with Roach for a Bradley fight.
And he needs to sort his team out - GET ARIZA BACK ASAP!
ts, you shouldve had an option for Southpaw. People still underrate how bad a Southpaw can make you look. Everyone was ripping Bradley the same way after the Alexander fight and most people rip Berto all the time but he's fought mostly all Southpaws just like again tonight. I think he too would look way better against a righty. With that being said, Kahn is still very suspect.....lol
Like I kept saying leading up to this fight. McCloskey is no pushover, the guy is a tough, strong fighter. And he is better than what people give him credit for.
Didn't help Amir that McCloskey is very awkward.
