I'm talking about hate from BoxingScene. Whenever you have people post 90 second clips of your fights because they noticed an effeminate yelp, that's obsession. Any way you cut it. Any way. Not to mention hilariously random.These yelps are a consistent theme throughout Berto's fights. Berto will never,ever reach the level of criticism that Mayweather has.Not on this forum or any other boxing forum.

His opponent (Forbes I think) sure wasn't trying to stop him from Clinching Great fighters don't cry about CLINCHING, they would have pushed him off and fired back some shots, a lot of these guys just can't fight inside so they would rather just cover up during a clinch and wait for the ref to come save them, the ACTION is not suppose to stop when your inside, too many fighters today just hold on to each other and wait for the ref, while guys like Ward, Hopkins even Hatton in his PRIME would bust you up inside to the body before the ref gets their lol The clinching happens because THE OPPONENT ALLOWS IT TO HAPPEN!

Berto is approaching Mayweather levels of hate. There's a huge difference between ESPN referring to you as a coward and a select few on an internet forum referring to you as such.

Since everyone hated Pascal after the fight, that knockdown became illegal and shouldn't of counted. Take Green-Johnson for example. The fight clearly ends on a Johnson punch behind Green's ear. I didn't have a problem with either knockdown in either fight you mentioned, and the called slip in the Berto-Quintana fight could have been called a knockdown and I wouldn't have been upset.

I'd be less worried by the clinching more worried by the effeminate noises being made by Berto.Somebody as mentally fragile as Ortiz could have a panic attack if Berto gets into full barking rhythm.
