Just rewatched Marquez vs Pacquiao II and here is my review of the fight:
Rounds:
1. Marquez 10 9
2. Marquez 10-9
3. Pacquiao 10-8 (1 point for knowckdown)
4. Pacquiao 10-9
5. marquez 10-9
6. marquez 10-9
7. pacquiao 10-9
8. Marquez 10-9
9. Marquez 10-9
10. Pacquiao 10-9
11. Marquez 10-9
12. Marquez 10-9
overall i have this fight 115-112 for Marquez
This fight was close so i could understand a Draw or split decision for marquez but cannot see pacquiao winning and doing enough to take title from marquez.
which fight were you watching?:nonono: Maybe if you and others disputing my first round scoring would mute the volume to not get caught up in the hype and commentators, would see marquez landed the more telling blows especially straight right hands, and countered effectively, anyway this is my view.
no, he literally, landed ONE punch
you gave marquez the 1st round? he landed one punch

if you scored the first round for marquez then you might as well not score the rest because you already fukked up beyond repair.
How is it beyond repair, i feel he landed the more effective punches and i was judging based on effective counter punching. Just get the heck out of my thread for being ignorant, go post on someone elses.
You think the Pac camp would legitimately entertain 140?....because I sure as hell KNOW they won't.
The only weight i see it happening is 147lb, or no fight.
It was a close, exciting, crowd-pleasing fight that could've gone either way but Manny got the nod.
If Marquez wants to settle the score, he knows what to do... but no one wants to see the fight any more according to him. But he can get the fight whenever he wants and can push for it to be at 140 since he has a bargaining chip with the Judah/Guerrero offer from GBP. He knows he's the most lucrative option for Top Rank for Manny and if 147 doesn't work for him, negotiate 140-142 and threaten to walk away if he doesn't get it, either way he'll come in at 145 and Manny 148 in the ring.

I personally had Marquez winning the second fight. Don't remember what I scored it but I have watched that fight a few times and everytime I score it for Marquez.
Even though, I wasn't upset with the decision because it was very close and the KD did play a big part in it.
Some here don't seem to understand the difference between ROBBERY and CLOSE DECISION.
This was a close decision.

lol , what a way to sum it up.
lets put it this way, the mayweather vs castillo fight (first one) was more of a robbery than pac vs marquez was, if you dont agree go watch it, i had castillo up 3 rounds, as did leaderman and the press row
I had Pac winning this fight by one point, KD made the difference. What most people don't realize is how dominant Marquez was in the 8th round, this was as close to seeing Pac stopped as any of us have ever seen (not counting Singsurat and Torrecampo).
Oh yess definately, having watched it today after a long time, i also realised this and was like this dudes getting smashed like it could have been over. However pac came back with a big 10th round close to knocking Marquez out again.
it was a tight fight, a lot of those rounds were really really tight and could have gone either way, pac won it but nobody would have argued if marquez won the fight either, it certainly was not a robbery
