Kirkland still has his aggression, but he seemed to come at you in angles. Now he just squares up more. I think he underestimated ishido and gbp is moving him too fast. He needs to get back with Anne and return to east Austin. Anne can get him physically back and be able to get him to focus again.

Kirkland didn't look the same last night as before he went to prison. I'm not sure why. He did have two other recent warm-up fights. I dont understand this notion that he has worsened since prison. He looks the same to me. He got hurt or knocked down in most of his high profile fights before prison. He was never gonna be anything great

People wouldn't focus on Martinez taking the 0 of a worthy adversary ( because Kirkland is not), they would focus on an untested fighter getting exposed. why'd he leave ann wolfe? idk why they split up, every interview of kirkland, he doesn't want to talk about it. she had him working hard though, check out the ring life vids on YT and stuff. he was able to walk through punches from harder punchers than ishida. he deff didn't take this fight seriously or was over worked with 3 fights in 5 weeks (something like that). that and he didn't protect himself like someone should. but now he can't turn back time, just needs to accept it, work harder, and fix his flaws...
