Man, Maidana vs Morales...

Is one of the most overrated fights in recent memory The way you guys are saying "Great fight" is crazy Its no where near to being a great fight.. it was a OK fight It was great the way Morales showed some of his old school stuff but come on Its not one for the memories other than Morales putting up a good show Great fight my a$$ I wouldnt watch it again

It was great because Morales did the impossible and not only didn't get destroyed by Maidanna but actually arguably beat him. If you can't see how great that is then I'm not sure what to say. Morales has done absolutely nothing in recent years to suggest he has a chance against Maidanna, nothing. Infact, over the past 5 years every last one of his fihgts suggest that he won't last 6 rounds. Not only did he overdo that, at times in the fact he made Maidanna look silly. Greatness was being witnessed last night, that's why.

That was a great fight, 3rd best this year so far after Rios vs Acosta and Lee vs McEwan I think its better then both of those fights. Only Concepcion-Marquez was better so far. IMO

That was a great fight. Plenty of two-way sustain action. + the drama with the eye. A FOTY candidate for sure.

Best fight of the year so far, I think. It also had a good story to it. Veteran fighter taking on the young lion. Morales was expected to get beaten to a pulp. Instead, he gets an eye swollen shut in the first round, and still makes it a VERY competitive fight. If this wasn't a 'great' fight, what do you think was? Alexander vs Bradley? Give me a break.

I agree - i thought they both looked really sloppy. Maidana's form is terrible - he looked sort of like Mosley did against Mora
