Just watched fight camp 360 and boy i tell you....When it comes to boxing i like to see rivals, trash talk, and confidence. All this friendship and respect is boring to watch. Dont get me wrong, your fist should do most of the talking, but GEEZZZ sale us the fight. If I want to watch friends i'll purchase season one and two the hit show....Not boxing tho...these guys have to buy some personality, so swag....they just dont have it..
Well isn't it to sell the fight. What happen to manny and Shane was going to be big because it was on network tv. Now it's "if you want to watch drama watch worldstar". The whole purpose of this fc360 was to sell this bullsh1t azz fight.

360 and 24/7 are designed primarily for the casual fans.
a fan of boxing who would have followed the careers of both Pac and Mosley would know that both fighters would bring it come fight night, and would watch their fight regardless of the content of those shows.
i have to admit though that 24/7 had better music and cinematography and i miss the rather poetic voice-overs.
Honestly, if they weren't trying to sell the fight then why even make a FightCamp360 for this bout in the first place? I love watching these 24/7s and FightCamp episodes because it does give you a little more insight into what's going on. It's supposed to target a new crowd, like the casual fans, to get interested in this fight.
Episode 1 was horrendous, I don't even know the lineup or if episode 2 has came out but I'd like to see them sell the fight to the people they're targeting in hopes of getting ppv buys and more importantly, making them more then a casual fan once this fight is over.
I like fights to have bad blood and two guys acting like saints doesn't get that~
Boxing ain't ballet~ I don't watch boxing to see the finer points of humanity
Not my concern. It can be boring, I suppose. No one is forcing you to watch. I love boxing. Anything boxing-related will generally hold my interest.
Casual fans don't know any better. They have heard of Mosley and they know Pacquiao is a beast. This fight would sell if they have no build up other than standard promotion. It'd help if they were egotistical douche bags that hammed it up on some 24/7 type program. But the fact of the matter is that if it's fake, casual fans would likely not care any more than they do now.
Highlight reels sell fights more than any other form of promotion.
The only casual fan here is u fool. Me personally, a guy that watches boxing doesnt want to see shane mosley vs pac man. The guy has been lost two back to back times. Shane hasnt won a fight in 2 years and Manny is still fighting fighters coming off loses. I know what this fight is about, and thats a safe fight for manny while making money at the same time. All I ask as a FAN OF BOXING is to make the pre hype a little more interesting that way i dont feel to bad of them raping me if i do decide to get the fight just for the sake of it....dumb ass
That's not my concern. I don't care if this PPV breaks records. Pacquiao fights are going to sell, period. The fact of the matter is that on a BOXING FORUM, you'd hope the posters aren't casual fans who need fights sold to them.
I can dig it.
dont mean it aint boring, cuz it is...24/7 ftw. the production value the put into fightcamp made it exactly what i thought it would. dissappointing.

I don't know if you this, but casual fans pay the majority of the bill. If you can't keep people interested during a free programming, then why would they pay for something that doesn't interest them.

Why don't u go watch some bold and the beautiful to get your drama fix, least these two are gonna bring all out action in the ring.
If you need a fight to be sold to you, then you're a casual fan. A casual fan that doesn't understand the best portions of boxing.
Boxing is inside of the ring. They are showing you the build up to the fight in terms of their lives and in terms of preparation. What's the point in them pretending they're something they're not? So it's more compelling? Ha. Watch Jerry Springer for that ****.
This is professional sports. They are simply acting professionally.

Pacquiao doesn't need to act like a douche to sell PPV's. And Shane and Naz are good people inside and outside the ring. I didn't find it boring at all. I found it more realistic than 24-7 however the only thing I didn't like was the commercials.
