Beating Maidana won't prove he's back.

Morales would have lost to Maidana in his prime aswell, not because Maidana is better than morales but because Morales isn't a 140 fighter.

i cant wait till morales shows he is back, he has been through many wars, but my boy will reprove his self i believe. DOES aNY BODY HaVE aNY CONFIDENCE IN MORaLES?? The end is near. Three round tops. Forget names and the past. Just do an analytic view of the attribute of the fighter in PRESENT condition. You know it's over in three rounds. TWO body blows and a probably an uppercut. Don't even know one of the fighter has time to "knee". Thus far, I provided no name of the winner but you know at heart what will happen will happen. Es La Verdad. Not sure about what Morales gets from the PPV. But he gets a decent share, buy it to contribute to his retirement fund. If not, save the PPV and take your SO to Outback Steakhouse. Why not?

I even recall someone he fought at 135 and lost, ( I think he was about 133) and was more than a bit pudgy. He said then that 135 was much too much for him he was going to stay at 130. How can you expect the same framed guy, YEARS older, many wars older, who retired because he was broken down, to suddenly revive, and become young and reflex perfect again. It just can't be done, and it may be guys like you, who are dreamers, who may be ecouraging him to keep fighting, and G-D forbid, getting hurt. No i certainly don't have confidence that Morales will survive the fight, the poor guy is done. I REALLY saw it when he took an ordinary shot in the 3rd Manny P. fight and shook.actually shook right down to his boots. His legs went on him , and as you may recall (I could be wrong) he took the count on one knee. Whichever way he was KO'd he was really and truly a done fighter, and HE knew it. I don't know why he has come out of his long retirement, excpe tto try to pick up some "easy" money. As soon as Maidana connects solidly, he won't even have as good a resistance as chinny Khan. I'm truly sorry he made a comeback, i always liked his bravery and spirit, and far preferred his open, straightforward persona to Barrera, whom I always thought was malicious and sly. But history has thrown their names together, and that's where they'll stay.

To tell you the truth Morales will be in grave danger for this fight. Hopefully, nothing bad happens to him. :sad2:

Maidana opened as a large 4 to 1 favorite. He has been bet up to an 8 or 9 to 1 favorite! All of the money is pouring in on Maidana. Think about that... All of the betting money is pouring in AGAINST a HOF Mexican fighter who is fighting some guy from Argentina. Morales has not shot. No shot at all...

This is laughable, I give Morales little to no shot on Saturday.

This will be a competitive fight for about 3 rounds then Maidana's strength and power will start to wear Morales down to around a 7th round stoppage. Maidana is just too big and strong for Morales. When they stared each other down Morales just looked too undersized.

I Dunno if EM still has it, Maidana I feel will overpower him.
