Sparring partners don't just go out there to beat up the guy. They all have specific tasks they're told to do in order to help prepare the fighter for their opponents. Not sure what Dirrell was ordered to do here but it's clear he wasn't firing on all cylinders.

33 seconds of sparring does not say much. We don't even know what they were trying to accomplish during that sparring session..

He was there just to take shots, probably just to get used to being hit Its evident ny the lacking of throwing any punches back
