Against a talented southpaw in Collazo he looked good but I dont think it will be enough against Manny and you have to wonder what version of Shane will show up?
This fight was a stupid choice & a lose lose situation for team Pacman. If he wins so what??He was supposed to anyway. But if he struggles,Floyd is gonna have all the ammunition he needs in his war with Pacman outside of the ring.(Because they won't fight inside it).
Irrespective of age or whatever poor condition Mosley is in, this just adds more big name fuel to the 'experts' and pactards who like Margarito, Cotto, Morales, and De La Hoya, decorate Pacs' achievements with shot or weight-drained fighters.

"Shane Mosley never cheated anybody" - Lampley
- erm......i beg to differ.
Anyway, Shane isn't this good anymore imo. Manny's right hook is going to be his go to punch because Shane keeps that left low. Also he's never been able to defend the str8 right from an ortho fighter, he just relies on reflexes and speed, no reason Manny can't use that right hook very effectively. Forest and Mayweather popped him repeatedly with the right hand over that guard. Manny will be too fast imo.......and i think Shane will have a problem finding the target.
yeah I agree, the only interesting thing will be how Manny reacts to Shanes clinching and power. I almost feel bad for Mosley cause he is going to take a beating.

Shane was throwing that str8 right like it should be thrown....whatever Shane does against Manny he's gonna have to tie him up and take it on the inside and rough the lil' man up
Actually Manny is slower than he was a couple of years ago but you are correct in that the footage is almost 5 years old. The problem is that Shane is 39. After 35, IMHO, you see a huge fall off. And at 39 his output rate and reflex and ability to pull the trigger is much less. However, Shane got 4rd to finish off PAC and try to walk him down. Manny is hittable. Both got good chins. After 4-6 rds, Shane is gassed. I hope Nazim will tell him NOT to box but to go all out. Shane simply does not have the stamina anymore.
Only slower because he moved up now he has more power behind his shots he is still lightning quick.
problem is that was 3-4 years ago, I think, Manny is faster and just all around better/different than Collazo. The closer this fight gets the more I think Shane will have to have the perfect fight plan and execution and get a little lucky to pull this off.

also pac fights nothing like collazo
If that Mosley shows up then it's gonna be competitive, guaranteed. Against Collazo he threw his right hand straight, he's gonna need to do that against Pacquiao. Doesn't matter, I doubt that Shane shows up.
