Concepcion-Marquez is a firefight! Anyone else watching?

This may not last much longer, both down in the first, Marquez badly hurt in the second and Concepcion down in the third. Yes I was watching and i have written in about the fight, before the official report came out, but I said basically the same things as were in the article. It was a great fight in which it looked as if Concepcion could have ended it if ONLY he could have hit Marquez with the punch he was stalking him for. He seems to know nothing about head movement and comes straight in making him predictable, but he's a strong guy. His KD's seemed flash type.

I didn't know Marquez can box. He should've done that when he fought that bum Richie.

The first 4 rounds were damn good, as was the tenth, but Marquez dominated 5-9 with relative ease. I'd say a good fight, but not a serious FOTY contender. Round of the year (rd #3)

we'll call it an honorable mentioned Rios vs Acosta is still my FOTY I can agree with all that. I saw a fight from Japan recently that was really good. I'd say that it's #2 so far this year.

Very happy for Marquez. He had an awful year last year, losing to a that bum who got KO by Pingo and Donaire.
