I don't see how Calzaghe can be accused of ducking Chad Dawson. Dawson's fights against Johnson and Pascal have exposed him as a pretty average fighter. Additionally, Dawson has two fans in the US, his mum and his dad. A fight with Dawson would not be beneficial to Calzaghe's legacy or his finances. because dawson was the best light heavyweight and instead of fighting him he fought shot jones jr and then retired? omg dawson lost a fight to a top fighter he's average! i remember calzaghe losing to robin reid so i guess calzaghe is a frickin bum. oh wait boxrec says he won so it must be true.

i want to say the hopkins fight would get that kind of money, but there has been a LONG AWAITED fight between clazaghe and froch, so i think that fight would get coke joe the money he is looking for. coke money anyone?????

I don't think the number is completely unachievable but it could be difficult to get there in just one fight.. He made around $10 million dollars against Roy Jones (roughly £6.2 million pounds.) It'd be more likely if he did a 2 fight deal to earn around £10 million pounds in total. He could potentially earn that over a 6 month period. I think 10 million is reasonable for a two-fight deal. Tune-up and superfight against Froch/Martinez/Pascal. Froch is the only fight Id want to see. I couldnt stomach an anyone else beating him.
