Guard Your Grill Boxing discuss Floyd Mayweather's rumored selection of Paul Spadafora as his next opponent. Towards the middle of the interview they demonstrate a pattern found within Mayweather's method of selecting opponents and consider the possibility that Mayweather could be using Spadafora as a southpaw tune up for a subsequent fight with Manny Pacquiao.
lol stupid as.s flomos hyping this fight up. I ain't listening to that bullsh1t.
GYGB aren't really biased like that, each member can hold widely differing views. For example, in this clip, one member of the team considers the possibility that Mayweather might be waiting for Manny to show signs of deterioration which might ultimately backfire on him.
Mayweather may take on Spadafora but I doubt he'd have the courage to fight Pacquiao.
Heck Dmitriy Salita could beat Spadafora now, why would Mayweather lower himself to that level.
how many damn tune ups does floyd fukking need?....i mean sriously, leonard fought hagler right away after being inactive for years...shane did'nt need a tune up to fight floyd when he was inactive for 17 moths......wtf..
Why would Floyd need a tune up, I thought PAC was easy work, way easier than Marquez LOL.
this^^^^^^^
Floyd told every and anybody who would listen that Manny was EASY work....I knew that mofo was lying!! :lol1::lol1:

LOL! i can't believe that a brother is scared of an asian midget... what an ass... i hope all the brothers file a petition to disown floyd... after that, floyd will be white and will change his name to John Smith...
if floyd is really tough as he says, he'll sign that contract and just punch pacquiao in the face... no if's and but's...
He needs a lefty for a tune-up against a future Pacquiao fight? There's PWill, who's willing to fight him at any weight he chooses, will definitely get great ppv buys as well...
IF and ONLY IF this is really a tune-up for a Pac/Floyd fight then:
1. Both Pac and floyd jr have agreed to a fight already and floyd jr is preparing himself for it. otherwise, why would he go into a tune-up for a fight that would never happen?
OR
2. Floyd jr knows that this fight will NEVER happen and is only using this as an excuse to get more people to pay him for a crap fight for him to just go on another vacation afterwards.
I pick number 2.
Hey, if it's any consolation to the flomos here, i might buy this fight though unless my insomia gets cured before that...

jeff mayweather already exposed wifebeater/spaddy as garbage fight.
just give it up flomos
First one of Pacquiao's best friend says he knows Pacquiao will fight Martinez because the body language in which Pacquiao was viewing Martinez calling him out.
Now a psychic is studying Mayweather's patterns of picking opponents, and has determined that he will fight Pacquiao because of this.
What is next.
If he fights Spadafora, its almost certain he will fight Pac. It doesn't make sense otherwise because there is many other opponents out there which would make him better $ and that would look better on his resume. That's why I don't mind him fighting Spaddy, if however he fights Spaddy and goes on vacation again that would effectively kill his 147 legacy.
Bull**** when he announced Marquez as an opponent on the eve of pacquiao's fight with hatton I thought he was gonna fight Pac with no BS. Look what happened next.
Until he signs something before spadafora then I call BS. The guy will just go on vacation again.
They try to put this on PPV, it'll be record lows for Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Knowing Floyd's ego, they WILL put it on PPV.
If he wants to get that Southpaw "look" then just hire Spaddy as a gotdam sparring partner.
He gets record low PPV's for his tune up, he's going to lose some leverage in negotiations that will stifle the fight yet again.
It's a never ending cycle at this fcking point.
indeed, but there's nothing to argue. A 14 day cut-off OST was offered and rejected. Additionally the offer was denied to have occured.
What's happened after that first negotiation is clearly different, however as we are discussing JMM as a tune-up for MP it's clearly what's relevant.

Im with you on the 14 day denial during the first negotiations. I think everything after that is when it gets complicated.

I can't be sarcastic? Look, you got your opinion, I got mine. I ain't swayin you and you ain't swayin me. No big deal. Its a forum. Shiit would be boring if we all agreed, right?
