You have just proved to everyone how dumb you are, in fact your so dumb you still have no idea why you have proved yourself to be dumb, oh well guess there is no hope for you.:loser:
"you're" Irony is delicious, idiot.
When u say stuff like this... :nonono:
Jones was an easy fight, but he was an easy fight for Tarver and Johnson a couple years earlier, so there's no surprise there.
Hopkins on the other hand... Easily? U'd get credit if u at the very least admitted it was a close fight, but saying he beat Hopkins easily... Just goes to show Hopkins couldn't win on ur card if he beat him the way he beat Pascal.
Fair enough Hopkins did put Calzaghe down in the first, but after that Hopkins just held for the entire fight, he wanted no part of trading with Calzaghe after the first few exchanges, i`ll take back the easy fight comment as it was a frustrating fight for Calzaghe, but he has had many more harder fights than what Hopkins give him.
why would it be frustrating? Are you welsh or just retarded?

Dum Dum you must try to understand Calzaghe WAS old when he fought Hopkins and Jones, not quite as old as them but he beat them both pretty easily anyway, now man up and accept he beat up so many Americans and retired unbeaten it`s doing your head in, so accept it and move on.:fingersx:

ALMOST as funny as hopkins saying "ill never lose to a white boy", and then, well uh, SUBSEQUENTLY LOSING TO A WHITE BOY!
then not as funny as the knee-slapper that joe pulled on roy in front of his own people in NYC . . . hahahaha

Sidenote: Legendary Raw Footage of Joe Calzaghe's Amateur days.
ok, full blown pizsed my pants............. there has been a lot of funny stuff today, i should've worn diapers, had i only knew it would've been this funny...
classic post!!!!!
I totally understand your frustration that you are reduced to name calling, to have a guy from a tiny little country going round beating every American fighter he fought by slapping the fcuk out of them must be hard for you to swallow.:owned:

The only thing that's a bigger joke that Joe are his moron fans.

The guy in his avatar is like Sergio Martinez compared to what he actually looks like...
So you think Sergio Martinez is hot?
You closet case. lol.
Let me know if you ever sack up and watch the video and try to refute it with a logical argument (I know I'm asking for the impossible here)
No, I want to imagine that's him in his avatar and he came here to harvest Calzaghe Stans' souls. Don't spoil it for me.

It's hilarious how obsessed with me this clown is because I picked on his girlfriend. With you know- facts.
Amazing that someone can be so emotionally invested in a frightened coward.
Uploader shut their account down. Mysterious, LOL.
Gee I wonder if the more unhinged losers on this forum didn't just spam report his account to death. LOL.
Like, Ottke, for instance. I can't really hate a guy with such a mediocre level of athletic talent. He needed to pad his record with junk and hide behind homecooking.
Bute's a damn good athlete. He can do things in there. It's only because his heart is made of f*ckin' tissue-paper that he needs to sit in French Canada beating up Jesse Brinkleys and parading around like a big tart to a partisan crowd like he just did something delightful and splendid.
F*cking cunt.
Preach! Preach on!
I see that people are getting things more in a perspective, TBH. I keep an eye on this forum and respect for Calzaghe among regulars who were once much more skeptical has gone up. That is, they acknowledge him as a genuinely very good fighter now, which was widely questioned before. The decent tests he faced late in his career, along with his retirement giving time for reflection, has steadily changed the perception of him to a generally respectful one.
I didn't say "tons" of respect, the kind reserved for true Greats. What I'm talking about is an increase in general respect in quarters where it has previously lacked.
Joe will make the HOF and few reasonable observers would begrudge it. If it weren't for the idiots who came here claiming he was an ATG and an achiever equal to Jones Jr. or Hopkins and this and that, we wouldn't have seen near as many threads like this one on the forum over the last 3 years plus. By your own admission, so many of your threads are a reaction to the inflated claims of his fairweather groupies.
I dont mind him in the HOF. The standards of the HOF for boxing are not as strict as for NFL, NBA or baseball for example. I'd imagine the standards for other sports worldwide are stricter also. So Yeah, i don't mind him being in the hOF or considered a very good fighter.
I have to concede, while his seeming mania is worrying, it was the sudden influx of 'man and boy' (translation, neophyte) Calzaghe groupies to this forum post-November 2007 which brought Lead Cenobite to all this.
Without them, Joe would have simply closed out his career and retired with the increased general respect of most boxing fans on this forum (which has come to him in retirement) and a HOF spot guaranteed and disputed by only the harshest of pundits.
But, oh no, we couldn't have a pleasant ending like that. Because they had to come here to the actual boxing forum where people talk about actual boxing, tipsy on BBC Sports Personality Of The Year hoopla, to declare Joe a Knight Of The Fistic Realm, proclaim his All-Time-Greatness as very arguably one of the best boxers ever to box in boxing and chug warm mugs of his seminal fluid.
FRKO. KrisSilver. abadger. _Ricky_. Skilled deepthroaters one and all. And there were many more. How I curse the names of those who brought us to this.
I agree with most but not that he'd have retired with tons of respect. People are simply beginning to see through the farce.
: GO IN THE WATER - "To take a dive, intentionally lose or throw a fight. 'They say he's a tank artist, a tomato can, a guy that goes in the water for a few bucks..' (Pete Hamill, 'Flesh and Blood,' 1977)" From the "New Yawk Tawk" section of the "Facts on File Dictionary of American Regionalisms: Local Expressions from Coast to Coast" by Robert Hendrickson (Facts on File, New York, 2000).
More theories:
-"People used tomatoe cans for shooting practice. So in the world of fighting, it is used to describe a person who is basically that... "target practice" for a fighter who has supposed need for a stepping stone. "
-""kick the can" is an old game. It used to be said that "Cans" were put into fights to get kicked around... "
