Maidana is running scared???

Ortiz is going to be faster on his feet at this weight, he's gonna throw heavier punches with more volume, and take better shots because he's getting close to his prime...take that in consideration and he's got more skill than berto
If Ortiz hardens up mentally there's no limit to what he can do. However against Maidana he was a mental midget. The guy has all the tools, speed, power, good technique and he's a SP, unfortunately his mental fortitude is questionable.
I guess Ortiz is going to be a full time Welterweight.
he should have dne so earlier.....he clearly has problems making 140. I say he beats Maidana in a rematch at 47.
I'd personally like to see Ortiz vs Khan at 147.

Ortiz is skilled i'll give you that, but he ain't beating Berto...

Ortiz wants Maidana as his first title defense. He knows that NO one at 140 will fight Maidana for a belt. Ortiz is being smart, because when he beats Berto he's gonna make sure GBP gives him what he wants they'll make sure Maidana gets no other big names at 140 and will try to fully redeem their super star by giving him the rematch. For those retards saying that Ortiz doesn't have a case for a rematch are dumb because Ortiz dropped Maidana 3 times and if he can do that to Maidana then he sure can do it to Berto.

I dont know about Berto but I'm pretty sure that Ortiz beats Maidana in a rematch, the reasons why he lost were all mental. Wrong gameplan and lack of heart.
Ortiz has the power to stop Maidana that's been pretty evident, all he needed to do was box a bit more disciplined. Maidana comes forward so reckless he woulda kept eating his left.
Victor has EXACTLY the tools to beast Maidana, and that's the ability to hurt him badly. You can't steamroll over someone like that.
He knows he won't beat Berto so he is running his mouth off at Maidanna so he looks like a big man because he knows once he loses to Berto, Maidanna will want nothing to do with him.
ortiz needs to really prove himself before opening his mouth...i really think berto is going to stop him.
thinking about ortiz being a welter...he should fight collazo next.
if Ortiz has accepted that this is his last chance and really is prepared to dig deep, he's either getting knocked out or knocking Berto out..I'm actually looking forward to see what happens.
he got ktfo in the first fight and now hes calling for stipulations? :lol1:
there is a big difference between getting knocked the **** out, and quitting.
Both maidana and Ortiz couldn't stay on their feet on that fight. Actually Maidana got knocked down 3 time before ortiz quit on the stool.
I have to see how Ortiz does at 147 against Berto before I would lay anything down on how he would do in a Maidana rematch.
But as of right now I think Maidana would still take his heart. Ortiz has struck me as one of those fighters who has good skills with physical tools but is mentally weak. To be honest I think Berto is going to KO him in 9 rounds or less.
