In this hypothetical a miracle happens and he makes weight. in that case guzman gets the slight edge for me... based on multiple performances gamboa isnt consistent enough and careless at times...guzman at 126 was great at making those kind of fighters pay but then again he never faced someone of the pedigree of gamboa nonetheless guzman gets a win in a close competitive decision

I like to refrain from topics having to do with Guzman, but Guzman stops him.

This is an extreme hypothetical because a cruiserweight like Guzman is not going to make 126.

In 126, the best Guzman, would be too much for Gamboa ... Much bigger, much better movement, the quicker feet, just as fast and powerful hands, but more importantly much more complete and intelligent. Security would be a war in the early rounds until Gamboa is tired of missing his shots and then would come the knockout for Guzman.

Ok, Boring fight with a lot of defense. Gamboa ekes it out on volume 115-113. I think Guzman makes him miss and look bad at times. Guzman threw a lot of punches at 126 and 130. I think it becomes a shoot out. Not sure who wins though.
