Sergio Martinez is 36 with 2 championship fights why is he getting so much hype?:dunno:
Antonio Margarito knocked him out in 7 rounds
Paul Williams was a welterweight that got outboxed by Carlos-who nose
Kelly Pavlik was another over hyped up hbo fighter that got shutout by a 44 year old man
Serhiy Dzinziruk who?.....:dunno: had 1 fight in 4 years
what has Martinez done to be in the top 3 p4p?.......
american's should stop watching HBO they are feeding you garbage watch showtime:boxing:
Actually, he has three championship fights for a legitimate championship. Kelly Pavlik where he won the championship and Paul Williams and Sergiy Dzinziruk. Undefeated in all three fights with 2 stoppage wins in solid fashion. That's not even counting alphabet matches.
To the best of my knowledge, Pacquiao lost around the same time. To a much lesser fighter, I might add. He also has less losses than Manny, and one of those losses was highly disputed.
Quintana. All boxers have off nights. He also avenged that loss in dramatic fashion, essentially remaining undefeated prior to the Martinez rematch. But, I don't expect a troll to take that into account.
That really doesn't matter. Pavlik was the true Middleweight champion of the world. Martinez beat him. End of story.
Dzinziruk was an undefeated fighter that was highly skilled and was supposed to make Martinez look bad. He didn't. Martinez got the job done in style.
Both channels have great fights. Quit being an idiot.
Regardless, he's faced all comers and as lost only once, that he later avenged. All fighters that take on the best have done this. ALL fighters.
Well said mate
:biggthump :boxing:
:fing26: to the TS
WAR SEXY SERGIO!!!!!!
Golovkin? Are you kidding. You think he's read huh?
Pirog? Who has he beat? An overrated Jacobs?
Sturm fights nobodies, and loses tough fights.
The other guys are irrelevant bums from Europe. We have seen it over and over. They stay in Europe their whole careers fighting cans.
Gennady Golovkin knockout Lucian Bute with a Head guard on and beat andre dirrell as soon as he gets Martinez in the ring he will beat his ass
Dmitry Pirog beat An overrated Jacobs it not his fault american fighters are overrated bums and Sturm beat Oscar De La Hoya's ass and got robbed and he beat ibf champion Sebastian Sylvester not bad for someone that fights nobodies
American fighters stay in America their whole careers fighting cans
There's no fighters in america there all bum's bunch of women over there
who you got to hype on about ?.........llegitimate son's of America AKA immigrant's manny pacquiao and Sergio Martinez 36 an 2 championship fights and the cowardly floyd mayweather
Cintron and Williams were welterweights that moved up to light middleweight, Dzinziruk was also a light middleweight. Pavlik hasn't been the same since Hopkins exposed his limitations. So there is more to see of Martinez before one can truly rate him as a good middleweight champ.
He has been impressive with who he fought though and fans are desperate for a dominate middleweight champ and there hasn't been one since Hopkins.
Would like to see more especially a few solid middleweights before completely jumping on the bandwagon myself.

man you got a mental age between 8 and 12 you MORON
dont tell me about no interim belt how many official belt did he win at 154:thinking:
name my OFFICIAL top ten light middleweight fighters that he fought?......
Kermit Cintron was a welterweight so dont say him....
next move i will checkmate your ass
why do you mention him getting knocked out by Marg, that's as relevant as Pac getting KO'd by Singurat and Torrecampo, hell B-hop lost his first professional fight.
Look in the mirror, you are making yourself look foolish.
Who at 160 is better then Pwill and Pavlik?
man you are living in a HBO bobble 160 is packed with top european fighters
paul williams was a ww that has DONE NOTHING AT 160 to be called a top 160 pounder
Who at 160 is better then Pwill and Pavlik?
Felix Sturm
Gennady Golovkin
Dmitry Pirog
Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam
Sebastian Sylvester
Darren Barker
Martinez needs to fight the natural 160 pound top european's
america has no fighters just a bunch of women over there
you are a moron that dont no nothing about BOXING
Martinez did not win a title at 154 that mean's he did not fight NO CHAMPIONS or top contenders he never fought nobody at 154
Kelly Pavlik is overatted he lost to a 44year old and then he lost to a 35 year old bum with no championship fights
name 2 guy at 160 that Martinez fought?.........1 pavlik.....2?.....:dunno:

Maybe because he knocked out P4P top ten Pwill (who was just as big if not bigger the Martinez), Finished off an undefeated fighter no one has ever beat or even looked good against.
Kelly Pavlik was overatted huh?
You obviously don't know much about him if you think the Margarito fight is anything to base him off of. So your opinion is pretty much invalid anyways.
Also, let me ask you. Who beats him at 160 or 154?

Ever since they caught wind Arum might be taking his cash cows over to Showtime, Martinez has been hyped more than I've seen any recent boxer I can remember. HBO obviously want to CREATE another P4P star to fill the void.
that's exactly why so many people have a negative view about sergiosexuals and sergiosexuality in general.
Great Pic...........

Because he is the freaking man, just like I said he would be about 2+ years ago....he keeps kicking arse and adding more haters to the list. If you don't have haters, then you aren't successful!
***And he was a champ at 154 too...I hope you knew that
