Right now I really like that hook/upper Bute is throwing. Is a hell of a body shot and it has produced him his last 2 KOs.

LOL Cotto hasn't been a good body puncher since the Malinaggi fight. Pretty sure he stopped two guys from body punching since that fight, and took out two others (Jennings, Judah) with the help of it as well. Marg, Clottey, Shane, Pac are hard to hurt. Cotto's still near the top of the list. Let's see how good Bute's body punching is when he fights the guys from the super 6.

Outside of the Foreman fight, Cotto hasn't been really consistent with his body attack in recent years. So I think Lucian Bute is clearly is the leader of the pack right now. Juan Manuel Marquez and Marcos Maidana are up there, and Guillermo Rigondeaux is quickly making a name for himself as a devastating body puncher.

Yeah I agree, those two are for sure in the top five. I would include Amir Khan in the top ten based solely on the fact that he dropped iron man Maidania to the body, that is saying alot. Cant really think of anyone else that dominates the body though. Maybe Mikkel Kessler should be in the top 5 as well. He killed Froch with that body attack.

Definitely Miguel Cotto Manny Steward is slowly but surely guiding Cotto back in to his body punching days he became a head hunter and paid for it..but nobody kills the body like Cotto does. I do wish we had more body punchers in the game tho.

giovanni segura juan manuel marquez lucian bute glen johnson naming a few cotto's not really the destroyer he once was he backs up more than he comes forward these days. i'll go as far to say he's a mostly shot fighter who's a champion on experience and skills alone but he had a stretch where he would overpower guys and **** up their intestines now he'll take a body shot if it's presented to him, and he's got crazy power with it, even at jr mw he's got one shot power to the liver but he doesn't go out and make them happen by getting close and cutting off the ring like he did in his prime

Juan Manuel Marquez has got some nasty body shots, especially when he ends his combinations with them.

bute's knocked out 4 out of his last 5 opponents with bodyshots and miranda basically jumped into bute's fist so he didn't even get a chance to use body shots in that fight. do you mean knocked down? Because Brinkley, Miranda and Mcgee were head shots, I know Andrade was a body shot
