The fact is that he anticipated the punch and took it at the same time he injured his knee so nobody can say that the punch hurt him especially when the guy who threw it admitted that it was not a hard punch and it clearly looks like it was not a hard punch. It is a better argument to say that it didn't hurt him based on how he looked once he was on the canvas. He looked fine... not stunned, dazed, or anything.
He knew something was wrong with his knee and grabbed it. The knockdown can't be credited realistically to Vitali despite what their rules say in my book because he suffered the injury at the exact same moment and didn't look hurt or stunned enough once he was down.
On top of that... lets be real... Vitali's brother and team basically tried to calm him after yelling at Solis because they knew he was ruining his chance to take credit for a legit KO. By yelling at Solis he was making it clear that he himself knew that his punch wasn't $hit.
IMO, that punch did not knock out Solis. If anything, it made him lose his balance which resulted in that injury of his knees.
a win is a win, so really Solis should have been well prepared in the end.
Debating the power of that punch is pointless. All that matters is that Solis was hit, lost his balance, and then couldn't get up to continue fighting.
Chris Byrd beat Vitali Klitschko fair and square by default when Vitali got injured. That's similar to what happened here; Odlanier injured himself while trying to defend against a punch, lost his footing, and couldn't continue the fight.
Let's all agree on one thing.. if Samuel Peter was given 3 chances against the Klitschko brothers, surely Odlanier Solis deserves a rematch against Vitali or a match with his brother Wladimir.
How about we agree on something else, like, you are a moron. Why should a guy who got knocked out like a ***** in the first round of a title fight, who even best case situation lied about about his condition and entered the ring in no shape to fight, or worst case for him he has such a weak chin and one tap from Vitali destroyed his entire body. Either way he's either a liar who ruined the fight and probably cost Vitali money in future fights by less people tuning in, or he's a *****.
Sam Peter was an undefeated fighter and it was for a vacant belt the first time Wlad fought him. Then when Vitali came back, he fought Sam Peter in order to get his belt back...ie. he had to fight him. The 2nd time Wlad fought Peter was simply because Haye, Povetkin, Adamek all said no to Wlad and Peter was his mandatory. The Klitschko's want to unite...if Solis can come back, get a belt, then sure he deserves a rematch.
So Solis can get the **** back in line.
cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry
Odlandier Solis
17-1
who's fault is it for solis being a fat out of shaped bum, that cannot support his own bodyweight.
your just mad cause a black guy lost
your mad cause 2 white guys are dominating the division
your a baby
haye is pathetic
solis is a fat joke
You mean Vitali steroid Klitschko? Yea...right. If he uses steroids I'm sure his brother does as well. Nobody cares when a guy beats anybody (black or white) when he's admitted to using roids.
Vitali was on his way to being technically dominated and nobody knew it better than his own brother.
Solis lost.. vitali won
deal with it you moron
He turned heel and is now pushing the lie that he prepared the punch (which was nothing more than a reactionary punch) because he doesn't want to give Solis a rematch. It's a disgrace to your own manhood when you try to take credit for a KO from a punch that you ADMITTED was not hard which landed at the exact same time that he tore his posterior crucial ligament and meniscus.
It just shows that his fans are spineless pathetic excuses for men like Vitali himself. A real man with balls would not be talking about anything other than giving Solis a rematch. Vitali is a pu$$y.

of course that punch didnt do anything, come on man all of us know that that llil punch wouldnt even drop a flyweight get outta here with that propaganda
propaganda...exactly. And you see how Vitali felt the need to make a video about it to push the propaganda. It's pretty pathetic how he's trying to claim a legit KO off a punch that he himself admitted was not that hard (though he turned heel on that statement) and even started yelling at Solis because he KNEW the punch wasn't hard. Now he wan'ts to say he trained for a punch that was pure reactionary. Major pu$$y.

lol at this blind delusional retard
read my sig, watch the temple shot gif and watch this video
Solis got KTFO by a beautiful half uppercut/half hook counter punch
END OF THREAD
I don't believe Vitali. That was clearly a reaction punch... not a prepared punch. It's obvious that he's full 0f $hit and you're eating it. I never said the punch didn't land. It did land. Idiot. But if he injured his leg then you can't say the punch knocked him down. Once he hit the ground his head looked perfectly clear. He only looked in pain from the injury.
